  • Lumbar Disk Herniation5:10
LUMBAR DISK HERNIATION:  Signs and symptoms of lumbar disk herniation include a history of low back pain and /or leg pain over months or years; muscle guarding, morning stiffness, muscle atrophy and the loss of sensation. Pain increases with forward flexion, coughing, and sneezing. Pain is often relived when recumbent with knees flexed. Extension of back may also relive the pain.
  • Lubmar Strain/Sprain7:36

LUMBAR STRAIN/SPRAIN: Signs and symptoms of lumbar strain or sprain include immediate transitory pain followed by pain-free intervals, which leads to stiffness, spasm, and diminished mobility. Pain ranges from sharp and intense to a dull ache and gnawing. Pain is localized to the lumbosacral region. Frequently, the patient has difficulty rising from a bed or a seated position because of the pain from muscle spasm. The gait is slow and guarded, and posture antalgic.

  • Sciatica Neuralgia4:37

SCIATICA NEURALGIA: Sciatica Neuralgia signs and symptoms include increased pain and paresthesia along dermatomal patterns of sciatic nerve roots. Antalgic gait is also noted.

  • Piriformis Syndrome4:40
  • Lumbar Spinal Stenosis6:30
  • Herniated Cervical Disc4:20

HERNIATED CERVICAL DISK: Herniated cervical disk is characterized by the low-neck pain, which may radiate to the extremities or chest. The pain occurs over trapezius, tip of shoulder, anterior upper arm, hand, and thumb. Exacerbations and remissions are common, with increased pain and duration with each subsequent attack. The pain increases with forward flexion of the neck. This condition is also characterized by severe night pain. Pain may be relived with upright posture and walking. Head may be held in antalgic posture with neutral flexion and deviation away from the side where pain is present. Cervical range of motion is decreased with pain present upon movements in both passive and active range of motion.

  • Torticollis2:47

TORTICOLLIS: Torticollis syndrome is characterized by the head tilted to one side or rotated to the other side in a very antalgic position.

  • Cervical Radiculopathy3:58

CERVICAL RADICULOPATHY: Cervical radiculopathy signs and symptoms include sites of pain in lateral neck, sub occipital regions, shoulders, and midback region; Decreased ranges of motion in all planes; Possible muscle wasting and weakness of upper limbs. Pain increases with hyperextension or deviation of the head to involved side. The pain is intensified by active or passive range of motion.

  • Cervical Spondylosis3:28
CERVICAL SPONDYLOSIS: Cervical spondylosis is characterized by neck pain that may be limited to the posterior neck muscles or may radiate to the occiput, anterior chest wall, shoulders, arms, or hands. Pain may be increased by passive or active movements of the neck. Pain and paresthesia may be distributed along dermatomal patterns over the arms. This condition is also characterized by diminished range of motion of the neck, and associated cervicogenic headaches. Disk degeneration is more common after 40yrs of age but it is a normal part of the aging process. Degenerative changes may lead to vertebra basilar ischemia, ataxia, and vertigo.
