Learn to implement single sign-on with Azure AD by syncing on-premise users to the cloud and publishing SaaS and on-prem apps via application proxy for intranet and extranet access.
This course provides a practical and in-depth understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory), focusing on identity, access management, and application integration scenarios used in real-world Azure environments.
You will start by understanding how Microsoft Entra ID works with multiple directories and tenants, and how identity management is handled in cloud and hybrid environments. The course then covers custom domains, user and group management, and role-based access control (RBAC), helping you understand how access is securely managed within Azure.
As the course progresses, you will learn how to integrate on-premises Active Directory with Microsoft Entra ID using Entra Connect, enabling synchronization between on-prem and cloud identities. You will explore Single Sign-On (SSO) concepts and learn how to integrate SaaS applications and line-of-business applications with Entra ID for centralized authentication and authorization.
The course also dives into external identities, including B2C collaboration and social identity provider authentication, allowing users to sign in using external identity providers. In addition, you will learn how to work with the Microsoft Graph API to programmatically access identity data and manage Entra ID resources.
Each topic is explained through structured video lessons, followed by practice tests to help you validate your understanding. By the end of this course, you will have a clear and practical understanding of Microsoft Entra ID concepts and how they are applied in enterprise identity and access management scenarios.
