Description

Prompting an AI assistant in an IDE is easy. Knowing why GitHub Copilot cloud agent ignored your copilot-setup-steps.yml on a feature branch, why merging raw Dependabot SHA edits into a compiled .lock.yml broke your GitHub Agentic Workflow (gh-aw), why Azure SRE Agent triaged zero ServiceNow incidents until an assignment_group and Incident Response Plan existed, or why Azure Copilot Observability Agent could not create autonomous Azure Monitor Issues without an Azure Monitor Workspace (AMW) subscription link is what Exam AZ-401 actually tests.

This course delivers 600 original, enterprise-grade Agentic DevOps questions across 6 full-length mock exams of 100 questions each, weighted strictly to Microsoft's official October 13, 2026 AZ-401 study guide:

• Design and implement processes and communications (15–20% -> 17 questions per exam)

• Design and implement a source control strategy (10–15% -> 13 questions per exam)

• Design and implement build and release pipelines (35–40% -> 38 questions per exam)

• Design and implement a security and compliance plan (15–20% -> 16 questions per exam)

• Implement an instrumentation strategy (15–20% -> 16 questions per exam)

ABOUT EXAM AZ-401 (OFFICIAL EXAM DESCRIPTION, PREREQUISITE & BETA NOTICE)

Microsoft Exam AZ-401 measures your ability to combine proven enterprise DevOps architecture with governed AI agents: GitHub Copilot coding/cloud agents, Azure DevOps & GitHub Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, Git worktree agent isolation, gh ado2gh migrations, GitHub Agentic Workflows (gh-aw), multi-stage YAML & Bicep Delivery, zero-trust OIDC & GHAS, Azure Copilot Observability Agent, Azure SRE Agent, and KQL telemetry analysis.

1. Expert Certification Prerequisite: To earn Microsoft Certified: Agentic DevOps Engineer Expert, you must pass Exam AZ-401 AND hold an active Microsoft Certified: GitHub Copilot (GH-300) OR Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification.

2. Beta & Predecessor Context: Exam AZ-401 entered public beta in October 2026 (through November 9, 2026; GA targeted December 2026) and succeeds Exam AZ-400 (retiring February 1, 2027). Because Microsoft's official Practice Assessment is not yet published during beta, these 600 questions give early adopters full-blueprint coverage built directly from primary Microsoft Learn and GitHub Docs specifications.

HONEST PLATFORM BOUNDARIES

Microsoft's live AZ-401 exam delivers 40–60 questions in 100–120 minutes with split-screen Microsoft Learn access and reports a 700 / 1000 scaled score. Each mock exam here contains 100 questions for full 27-skill depth, and raw practice percentages do not convert to a 700 scaled score. Interactive drag-and-drop tiles, hot-area dropdowns, tabbed case panes, labs, and locked Yes/No series are adapted into text-complete CSV questions.
