Description

Make marma acupressure self-care an enriching part of your daily routine to create emotional and physical well-being.

In this series there are 30 mini-videos that focus on the micro-areas of the body + 8 videos that cover larger areas of the body going from head to toe.

These are protocols I have developed over the past 20+ years of clinical practice and shared with my clients & students to help bring this ancient marma knowledge to life. Over the course of 6 weeks learn over 100 marma energy points and how to effectively use them to transform your life!

What is Marma Therapy?

Marma Chikitsa (therapy) is an acupressure modality that comes from the ancient healing tradition of Ayurveda. A marma is a vital energy point located on the body where the physical body, energy body, and emotional body meet. These points are vital because they are full of prana, or vital life force and are located where there are many nerves and blood vessels.

Marma Therapy may support well-being with:

  • Dosha imbalances (Vata, Pitta, Kapha)

  • Bodily tissue imbalances (blood, plasma, muscle etc)

  • Balancing bodily channels such as the digestive tract

  • Organ health

  • Detoxification

  • Pain relief

  • Calming the mind and balancing emotions

  • Enhancing awareness

  • Preventative care & rejuvenation

Taking your time to get to know each of the points in these micro-areas you will discover each marma has its own personality. I recommend following the protocol for 1 area a few times and feeling comfortable with it before proceeding to the next micro-area. Use the self-care protocol at the end of the section to see how all the micro-areas can be combined together. Accept my self-care challenge to commit to 5-10 mins daily to a marma self-care routine!
