This course contains questions that originated from the previous SOA-C02 exam version. Before inclusion, the questions were remapped to and reviewed against the current SOA-C03 exam domains, and questions whose answers could not be confirmed consistently for the current version were excluded. The distribution of questions in this course does not reproduce the official exam domain weights. Use the domain labels as study aids, not as a prediction of the composition of the certification exam.
Prepare for the AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer - Associate (SOA-C03) exam with 429 questions organized into 3 full practice tests. The scenarios help you interpret operational requirements, compare plausible AWS solutions, and make technically sound decisions across monitoring, reliability, deployment, automation, networking, security, compliance, cost, and performance. Every question includes an explanation for every answer option, allowing you to compare why the correct choice fits the scenario and why each distractor does not.
What you will practice
- Evaluating monitoring and log analysis with Amazon CloudWatch
- Designing high-availability and backup strategies
- Automating operations with AWS CloudFormation and AWS Systems Manager
- Troubleshooting network issues
- Assessing security and compliance requirements
- Optimizing cost and performance from an operations perspective
Course structure
Each of the 3 practice tests contains 143 questions, for 429 questions in total. Questions are randomized, the passing score is 70%, and each test allows up to 240 minutes. All answer options include explanations. Domain labels help you review your results, find weak areas, and plan targeted follow-up study after each attempt.
Recommended study method
Take a practice test under timed conditions before reading the explanations. Review every incorrect answer and every question you answered without confidence. Compare the explanations for all options, identify the operational requirement that determines the answer, and verify unfamiliar details in the current official AWS exam guide, service documentation, FAQs, and other current AWS documentation. After a few days, retake the relevant areas and confirm that you can explain the reasoning in your own words.
Who this course is for
This course is intended for candidates preparing for AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer - Associate, learners who want to test knowledge gained from official documentation or video training, professionals who want to understand why both correct and incorrect options are appropriate or inappropriate, and test takers who want to identify weak domains through repeated practice. It is designed for an intermediate level, while still supporting learners who are consolidating foundational terminology for AWS monitoring, operations, reliability, and automation.
Quality and currency
The questions and explanations were checked before release for structure, duplication, answer consistency, technical accuracy, and alignment with the current SOA-C03 domains. Because AWS services, product behavior, documentation, and certification scope can change, review the latest official AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer - Associate exam guide and current official AWS documentation before taking the exam.
