AWS Cloud Fundamentals for System Administrators

Looking to get into AWS? Look no further, this course will go over some of the basics from the AWS Technical Essentials course offered at AWS's training website as well as fundamentals from the Sysops and Cloud Architect training courses. The purpose of this is to combine all of the relevant information to get you started and familiar with AWS so System Administrators and Helpdesk Administrators alike can become familiar with the AWS environment. Most of this training was done back in 2020 but the concepts are still valid even today in the AWS world. Learn about the VPCs, the EC2 cloud VMs that can be an extension of your network with VPNs or a Direct Connect line, IAM for Identity and Access Management, Some S3 and Lambda walkthroughs and how to identify which level of S3 should be used and for which use case, and lastly Cloudfront and some of the basics of the Billing. All you need to begin is an AWS account and you can start using the Free Tier resources with this course. Some of these concepts covered about Cloud Architecture is not limited to AWS’s resources and can be used with other cloud providers. The only thing that changes is what they’re called.
