Welcome to the Awakening Astrology 30 Day Video Course!
I’ll be your modest instructor and host, John Crowdis, and I shall do my best to give everyone an honest, and holistic overview of astrology. This will include how to utilize it earnestly for self-development, awakening new parts of your consciousness, creating success and wellbeing and learning our life purpose. Along with the meanings and various components of this ancient tool.
First, and foremost, what is astrology? It is the study of how celestial bodies affect the various realms of human existence and life on earth. From the psyche to the amount of kids you will have, it has been observed that certain forces and patterns relating to the stars and planets above, have correlating effects with our feelings and lives upon earth below.
There are so many systems of Astrology, from many different cultures: Babylonian, Egyptian, Vedic, Sidereal, Celtic, Aboriginal, Chinese, Mayan, Tropical, Astronomical, and the list goes on. They all have different methods, viewpoints, techniques, understandings, for the most part. Some overlap between some of them, but do be aware that I am by no means an expert in all of these forms of astrology. I have studied Tropical, Vedic and Astronomical and i would say I am most qualified to teach within these realms, due to how much experience I have had with them over Chinese and Mayan and so on.
In this course we will focus on a derivative of Astronomical and Sidereal/Vedic Astrology: Awakening Astrology
Many of the different videos and texts shared will have information that pertains to Vedic, Sidereal, and Tropical still. For example: If I talk about the traits of the planet Mars, which I will in the future, pretty much everything I say about Mars and the other planets will apply to all of the above astrology systems. The meanings for the different signs and planets are very similar in many ways between these four versions. They may also overlap with the other systems too, I have yet to research the rest.
And why does this happen? Why can you use this info in any of those modes of astrology? Because Astrology, no matter the origin stems from the same sky that we all see and experience.
What I have done is researched many of the different systems, and realized that no matter what anyone does, they our going to have their own unique system in their own experience, mind and life. One facet of Awakening Astrology is that it’s mode that makes sure that relativity is in awareness when we do Astrology. Awakening is going to be constantly changing and growing, as humans discover new truths about the stars and planets and our position in the universe. This system is using all the most accurate information both from the ancients and modern science, to build off of intuitively, in order to evolve, awaken, and become our best selves. Trusting that this it is an unknown, creative, fluid process.
The components of Awakening Astrology are basically this: Using the Astronomical Astrology Zodiac wheel to know the actual positions of stars and planets, being inspired by Vedic and Sidereal interpretations of signs, planets and rulerships, as these stem from mystics/sages who devoted their entire lives to the observation of the universe, which is far more than most astrologers can honestly claim nowadays. Then the last portion to Awakening is surrendering to infinite creative flow. It is quite simple, use the information that is most accurate and probable at this time and be open to moment to moment change.
In the next section, I will explain more in depth the difference between Tropical and Astronomical and why I choose the latter for assessing things like purpose and destiny.
But before that is your first Assignment!
Yay!
:D
PS!! Always be sure to check for downloadable videos as not all videos could be uploaded to Udemy, Thank you <3
Assignment 1: - find your chart, save it and if ideally give it an honest read with whatever you do know, even if that is nothing.
Recommended is AstroVizor for Android or “masteringthezdoaic” or google is abundant with many others too. Masteringthezodiac will give you your astronomical chart, and Astrovizor can give you Tropical or many versions of vedic/sidereal astrology.
-- The secret to reading is letting go of inner chatter, noise, letting thoughts flow freely into the cosmos, becoming calm and accepting of the fluctuations of feeling/energy, so then when insights arise, you won’t react and scare them off. Awareness, Intuition from the Stillness, and then Evolution from the new information through Action.
How to Read a Chart?
Welcome Back! Today is about how to read a chart.
Like with yesterday's writing, where I explained that how astrology works is largely relative to the person doing it and their own individual feelings, thoughts, behaviours, intentions, biases, etc.
How to read a chart is similar, relative to how YOU will read a chart. I find new ways all the time, and do not stick to any one way. Infinite ways. You truly just do it. You just read it. Try it find a chart and just read it. Right now! Go! Just like in the first assignment, if you did it: no worries if you didn’t. Because you are going to do it now! Search a chart online, any chart at all. Brad Pitt, Elon Musk, Hilary Clinton, Scarlett Johanson. Whomever.
…
…
Regardless of your background knowledge and beliefs about your abilities, find a chart and read it with whatever you do know. And it can relate to things beyond astrology. Creativity is key to intuition. And Intuition key to astrology.
...
Focusing on breathing or body sensation is helpful to allow intuition to rise. You can let go of the reading and just send your system love, from any direction. Give it a hug, kiss or smile. You are allowed to feel a sense of niceness, even the slightest.
Stay aware of breath, without guilt, there is no pressure, in the end you are free.
You can do what you wish, and are completely forgiven and loved by the infinite cosmos.
You can even ask yourself: Do I truly want to read this person’s chart/my chart? If your body, gut, heart, or energy field say they do not wish to, listen to it, or ask it why. If your system, and being react positively and say yes to reading the chart you can pretty much trust that you can jump in.
If your heart, soul, body, excitement, any part of yourself really wants to dive in and read a chart, you can trust that the intuition has a pretty good chance of being open and active. And it doesn’t have to be excitement, but it could be zen, or affection, or motivation or intrigue, or even heart-felt despair. You can go in with anything and intuition will be there still to guide you if you let it. No one is devoid of intuition, and if you think so, well that is simply a thought and not the reality of the situation.
...
When you go into a chart, there are a bunch of points of interest. Where the planets are and where the center cross is, the geometry between all the planets, the twelve houses, and the zodiac wheel. So let us assume you know nothing about the zodiac signs and planets and so on. What you can do is use an app/site (Masteringthezodiac or Astrovizor ) and look at the shapes or the aspects of the planets. Red being challenging or tense and green being harmonious or easy feel and look at the geometry and take in the colors, (not as bad or good, but as red and green, hard and soft, or any two polars). See what you feel and think just from that, not needing any more technical info. Some people have stars in their chart from the shapes of the planetary geometry. Some have squares, some have arrows or diamonds. It is very interesting to see how these shapes feel and what they make us think of.
From there, still without knowing anything about the qualities of the signs and planets, look where they are on the wheel. [Some apps have colors for the planets and signs, you can use those colors to intuitively feel that signs energy.] The bottom half of the chart is below the horizon. If the Sun is down here, then it was night-time at birth.
Think about how night time could offer a different energy at birth than daytime energy.
Some people have all their planets in one area, and it could be in any part of the chart, up, down, etc.
Some charts are scattered around evenly, some not so evenly.
You can put yourself in this person's shoes as they came out of the oozey womb.
After all the videos are released on the different components of Astrology, I will make another How to Read video and text to know what it's like with the info.
However, the intuition is almost always going to be stronger and more potent than the symbols and meanings. Ideally they are used together to maximize insight and evolution.
And for your enjoyment, Quiz #1! <3
Answer these questions at your leisure.
1) What does As Above So Below mean?
2) What is the oldest known source(s) of astrology?
3) In the “How Does Astrology Work?” section I focus on three ways that astrology works and functions as it does. What are these and could you explain them as best as you can?
12 Elements
From Aries To Pisces:
Fire, Nature, Sound, Water
Light, Electricity, Air, Darkness
Thunder, Earth, Ether, Spirit
We talked about Planetary Power, and how to read them in a chart. Today we are going to talk about how the different elements interact with one another, or how they can, and also expanding upon the elements.
So, when we usually go about playing with the 4 elements, strong water will increase all water signs/planets and dampen fire; strong fire will burn up air, strong air will fly away from earth, strong earth will soak up water. There are many other ways to see relationships between the elements, this is just a basic one. However, each sign’s elemental energy is different than others of the same element class. When you go deeper these simpler modes of calculating power kind of fade away. Here is the reason why: each of the fire signs, and water signs, and air signs, they are all different forms of their elements. They are not the same. Aries is Fire, Leo is Light, Sagittarius is Lightning/Thunder. Cancer is Water, Scorpio is Darkness, and Pisces is Spirit. Gemini is Sound, Libra is Air, and Aquarius is Ether. Taurus is Nature, Virgo is Electricity, and Capricorn is Earth.
Now this isn’t the only way to interpret the elements, they are just the elements I have connected with these signs based on observation, experience, and strong associations with them. Gemini is the center of the throat chakra, so I said that one is sound, as sound and air and ether are all mixed and associated with each other in ayurvedic philosophy as the element Vatta, I then put the other two in a triangle with sound. Opposite Gemini is Sag. Sagittarius has always been Jupiter/Thor/Zeus, the god of expansion and wisdom and benevolence, thunder/lightning. This one is kind of set in stone a bit more, haha. Not actually set in stone, but the association has been there for centuries already.
I made the elemental cross of the 4 regular elements start at Aries because it is so quintessentially fire, whereas Leo is beyond the physical a bit more, it is in the heart and is yellow, like the light of the sun. Scorpio is 90 degrees from Leo and is the closest representation of darkness, other than Pisces. Scorpio is darker than pisces though, more so dealing with death, especially of the ego, where as Leo is the King, the brightest, the best ego. Scorpio felt like a good choice for darkness. Opposite Leo is Aquarius; all about new, beyond, revolution, equality, and is higher in the chakras, so it got ether, which is beyond boundaries and is of more equal consistency than most other elements and things on earth. Pisces is deep, and watery, dreamy, and otherworldly, so it gets the force spirit.
Pisces is the liquid consciousness that permeates all dimensions at once, and allows us to flow in and out of dream states. Pisces is opposite of Virgo, which I gave electricity to. At first I was going to give this Wood or Metal from Traditional Chinese Medicine, but electricity fits it far more. Virgo is a mercury sign, but more practical and in the physical world than Gemini which is more in the social world. Virgo’s are at service to others and the world, helping out is their main trait along with intelligence, practicality, planning, and other Mercury traits, which relates to the nervous system. The nervous system runs on electricity, and electricity is primarily used to help humans out. This made the choice pretty simple and helps extend the understanding of what the earth element is.
Rivers, veins, roots, neurons, branches, they all look the same. This is why Taurus got Nature. Mother Earth is about connection, spreading, growing, evenly, and with balance. Manifesting the beyond into this plane. Capricorn is the structure of reality, the order, and so that is simply put as Earth, representing the basic structure of physical reality and structure of this planet and society. The structure is both Nature and Humans/Electricity. Look at our roads, they are like neurons and roots and branches too. Sagittarius is like electricity from Father Sky rather than Mother Earth, it is closer to the sun/Leo than Earth/Saturn/Capricorn, at least in metaphor.
And Cancer is water because it is a crab and crabs live in the water...also because it is seen as the most emotional of all the signs, and most motherly, the moon, which controls our tides.
Libra is Air because, well it usually is an air sign, it is on the cardinal cross staring at Aries, it is Venus which is heart energy and in Yogic philosophy air is the heart chakra. It feels right to have the cardinal cross be the classic 4 elements, and then have the others be unique ones or ones already associated with them.
Those are some of my reasonings for choosing the elements I chose. I am sure most will make sense to people, but feel free to think of your own and experiment with what feels right to you. I change my mind all the time about stuff; always changing is the way it is. :D
Poetry of the Signs and Planets
“Any realm can connect to any other realm as long as you trust” - Me
This is some poetry to represent the intuitive, improvisational way of doing things. To blend different genres and categories, and show how there are no strict barriers and we can still have stable information.
So i say what I need to about the signs and planets in the next section, and here I will offer short poems for how the sun and moon work in each sign and a poem for each planet.
To show that there is
No right way to know
Our infinite inner
eyes can always glow
Like the Sun, the Sol
Ra and real
The deal you are here to seal
Peel back the mask, here is your
Heart’s task
Mine a Virgo, to help and serve, hers a
Libra, to balance the herd
Him a Scorpio I heard, he likes it in the bird
The Sag, to look for the holy third
While Capping the corn, we mourn for the newborn and the old alike; tradition is so bright
And sometimes burnt and crumbled, rubble and humbled by the Water bearer
Bearing the sacral waters of change
Equality, rearrange
Within swims the fish, duel and mist
From the spirit and farther
Waters of the unknown the hardest
Rising red in Aries, exalted to the fullest honor
Into the mountain, a field of Taurus
Steady and floor footed
Talking in Gemini, to you and I
For their loves, their family and pet doves
They nurture to ward away Cancer
Leo makes sure his light is bright, healing to the sight
When we go to The Moon
In tarot she is Pisces
These fish love the Moon
They swoon to her tune
Invisible at noon, but night sometimes bright
Pushes and pulls the water of the land
and the sun’s light in his hand.
She is our feeler, deep thinker, fluids and nuances.
The inner portal to the evermore of inner portals
Different all the time; emotions and thought styles, waxing and waning
In Aries, very flarey, Mars hard, on yourself
Inner voice maybe male, fast and powerful, loud even
For Taurus, she sits quiet towards your neck, letting you whisper your feelings and lullabies and love songs, eating well and living long
In gemini, always on, back and forth
Voices galore
No valor, splator and test her
Arrest the party pooper, keep moving learning and wording
Talk and stalk the thought trains, new stations to see and info to ride
For a Cancer, humble and romantic, like a benevolent mother, no matter what's in the pantry, she or he can see beyond your wee wee
Healing in leo, home of the sun, letting the self love reign supreme, sometimes it can seem a little mean.
But in Virgo we forgo our ego and help others with their internal flow
Our feelings through helping others
Then up to Libra, the scaley see of brush, lush lusty and now musty with the Moon
Lighting up when people wake up
Destined to love the pups
The snakes with Luna, feeling gargantua
Beyond expression, many dark lessons
Of love
To the above, the gods of thunder
Never Sagging, but flirting with disaster by feeling the spirit after spirit
Into the new you, proper, capped off and fruit full of labor
Until the aqua lets us shine into stars; we live the way we like
The fish round again always avoid the pike
Now a Mercury once made me some, it was Dandy, and although spicey it did not hurt me
Medicine it be
Seeing with my inner eye the constant oneness flirting with duality at the brink of polarizing to the holy trinity
Water for the chinese
Air and internet for our dead knees
Talking heads, written beds, seeds woven into our oven proof pills
Pastures of pilots waiting to fly it into the sun
Mimics of icarus
Truth be told, no matter how bold
You be
Venus will hold you dearly
Close with kisses music and colors
To bliss this
Shifting into the tactile
Our skin
Your wind
Her sins fluttering
Pinned down, by social constraints
Sing about the calamities; the attachments faint and pleasure awaits
Beauty and love for a threesome date
Along came Mars, wanting to fly to the stars as the flaming fire a rocket's fuel desires
The pyre and the liar
A warrior spring even from a shire
Hard work and motivation twerk this beauty into being badass
Chastised never, Jupiter always has good weather
Lucky and no need to be brave
Trusting benevolence
The generous and giving way
Expand even when gluttonous
No fuss, trust the lust for wisdom
The walls will disappear and reappear
Saturn's key is turning your sun round again
Withered into the coal, carbon, lead but secretly full of love
The golden center of god; these rules and laws not to bar but to teach us how and why to become a star
Uranus will help you go beyond those old
Ratty structures made by ratmen
To dissolve your freedom
Impossible
Be the fool
The random
Feel the full, the phantom
Operate and then let go
Surrender to the spiritual flow
Neptune’s waters know what you need to feel and experience even if it doesn't seem real
Dream, the wheel of fortune
Teaches us about death’s door
Change is imminent
Closer than you think
What stinks isnt Pluto
But the mind outty and dough
That keeps us from the grow
Op god has going on yo
Enter flow, the stars chose for you to know your destiny
You are ready
Signs/planets
In this section I give a unique description of the signs, where I relate them to their opposite sign. This is to, once again, show you that there are many ways to see the meanings and relationships of all the components to astrology and life.
Aries/Mars
This is the god of war. Red, blood, muscles, power, movement, drive, motivation, will, fire, ego, self, the head, the body. Mars is masculine, and active. People with strong Aries can be on the go, busy, very physically active, improving their life, and their self, but also can be arrogant, narrow minded, and hasty. Mars people aren’t necessarily non-empathetic, when someone reminds them of themselves or of a type of self they like, their heart opens. The chakras for this sign are Stomach, Root and Third Eye, in that order or relevance. Strong and balanced Aries or Mars will be quite productive, physically healthy and mobile, and quite picky about whom they are around, but in a self-loving way. Imbalanced Aries is aggressive, arrogant, angry, intolerant, etc. True self-love is the harmonious Mars, and egotistical self-love above others is the imbalanced Mars.
Libra/Venus
This is the goddess of justice and beauty. Kind of like Athena and Aphrodite. All about social balance, air element, charisma, pleasure, giving pleasure, equality, music, kidneys, buttocks, sacral, heart and throat chakras (in that order) art, social reform and activism. Venus is feminine, and sensual. People with strong Venus tend to be very visually beautiful, can create beautiful art or music, are empathetic and offer affection towards others. They can be over-indulgent in charming others, sex, ego-boosts, and making things “pretty” or seemingly harmonious. The aligned Libran Venus type can create a lot of beauty in feelings, and help people realize self-love. It’s counterpart Aries is like a teacher of what self-love means, and the Libran learns, receives like the feminine, and then amplifies it to others, as the self for a Libra is everyone. When Libra learns how to be Self-loving and share it, many selves start loving and become in alignment with truth. This makes the Aries have a much easier and more creative time with loving themselves as other people doing so teaches them new ways of making them self accepted and open to cosmic growth.
Taurus/Venus
Many of the same Venus traits that I talked about with Libra apply to Taurus as well, however, Taurus is a much slower, simpler, physical earth element. And where as the Libran wants to helps other beings and society rebalance, and give affection, Taurus often wants to receive affection and give stability through presence. Taurus is very much so a lover of the simple, still and quiet, and would rather not move from natural Om bliss. Stubborn they are to change, but once they settle and relax into a wave of reality, it is very comfortable, enjoyable, and nice for them. Because they don’t move much and food is such a simple, easy to come by pleasure that highly relates to the throat chakra, Taurus’ can often be over-eaters. Great at making music and admiring music, through the Throat, Heart chakras too. The harmonious Taurus will live a very natural and peaceful life, most likely, it will be filled with sharing and eating food, music, stories, and hearts. The Taurus offers stability for other people to be comfortable with themselves, since they are good at being nonreactive and grounded. Although resistance to change can seem bad at times, it can also be good for staying centered during the tough moments of life. Taurus are good at this, where as their counterpart, Scorpio may not be so good at controlling their emotions. An imbalanced Taurus can be an over-eater, stubborn to a fault, and materialistic.
Scorpio/Pluto/Mars
Scorpio is originally ruled by Mars, before humans knew about the planet Pluto, which is the God of Death and Rebirth. Mars represents a more internal power, control and motivation with Scorpio. Emotions, mental surrender and death of egos, but also scheming, concealing, manipulating, and desiring sex or social power. The genitals and elimination systems are what Scorpio rules. This is a water sign. The Pluto that took over rulership, represents poop, death of self and birth of newness, the constant darkness, change, transformation, occult, alchemy, rituals, black magic. Scorpio’s are rather unpredictable, as they are a gateway to the unknown and to the invisible of sorts. The balanced Scorpio embraces their emotions, embraces the vile/taboo, and does magic with the greater understanding of infinity to change themselves and the world; for the greater good they direct emotional power to alter reality. However, imbalanced Scorpio’s manipulate people for sex, drugs and attention, and are not channelling their deeper emotional power for good, and this is not always conscious but a primal reaction to their environment.
Gemini/Mercury
This is the messenger God, Hermes or Thoth. The twins, the dialogue, interaction, communication, neurons, arms, shoulders, air, throat chakra, technology, internet all back and forth of information events and processes. A strong Mercury in a chart gives a great orator, thinker, writer, engineer, planner, organizer, etc. Apt with the mind and words. A weak mercury can be someone scatter-brained, indecisive, illogical, unorganized, etc. Usually great friends, fun and playful, talkative, even if inconsistent and airy. This deals with short-distance travel and it’s opposite, Sagittarius deals with long-distant travel. Gemini learns self-love by interacting with others, by feeling the electricity that happens just from connecting to one or two other beings. Learning how much can be inside one tiny being or computer chip even, helps one learn how to love the infinite in themselves.
Sagittarius/Jupiter
The god’s of lightning and thunder. Expansion, optimism, benevolence, travel, spirituality, luck, generosity, truth, philosophy, liver, hips, motion, bigger picture, the great truth, light-hearted, Sacral chakra and Third Eye. Strong Jupiter is a person that goes with the flow, travels, gives a lot to others, shares knowledge freely and openly, and is relatively lucky in life. A weak Jupiter can lead to misfortune, stagnancy, limiting views/actions and overall negative events and thoughts. Sagittarius learns self-love by exploring, by seeing how big everything is and that we are a part of it all. Go to forests, canyons, oceans, and abstract dream worlds. Learning that this place is so big makes it hard to not love it. Sagittarius goes beyond the mind to interact with the world, whereas Gemini stays at the mind and loves it. Both necessary forms of interaction for the world to go round.
Cancer/Moon
The mother, guidance of emotions, feeder of foods, keeper of the home and lover of what is known. Relates to fluids, breasts, ovaries, stomach juices, emotions and thoughts. This is probably the most empathetic, sensitive, loyal and caring of all the signs. Strong Moon will offer a great partner and caretaker. Someone born to nurture live and give water/food to people, animals and plants. The moon is balanced when embracing all emotional realms and allowing them to fluidly transition and change for everyone's benefit. Weak moon may have a hard time connecting emotionally to themselves, let alone others. The way a cancer loves the self is by making sure others have the basics of physical and emotional support. Another giving and feminine sign, love comes from intimate connection.
Capricorn/Saturn
God of time and order. Laws, rules, regulations, death of negative, karma, limits, walls, boundaries, but also shells, and protection. Strong Saturn can offer a very ethical, hard-working and considerate person, and a very weak Saturn can offer a criminal, inconsiderate and possibly hypocritical person. As the opposite to Cancer, a strong Saturn is good at governing and maintaining systems for people to live efficiently. Saturn loves by making sure many families and beings can live and survive together with proper rules and regulations guiding them. Love happens through others, but is less touchy feely as Cancer.
Leo/Sun
The sun, the king of our solar system. The one everyone follows. Leadership, authority, power, light, action, play, self-love, pride, The Heart and Stomach Chakras. When out of control they are arrogant and tyrannical and entitled. But in harmony they are the leader some need, and help people enjoy life, love their inner star and realize they are gods. Tiny humanoid gods. In relation to Aquarius, the Sun is one star, perfect in an of itself, and Aquarius is all the stars and the equality between them that create a larger being; a network.
Aquarius/Uranus/Saturn
Freedom, revolution, humanitarianism. Rebelling against the king Leo when there is a hierarchy. Dealing with equality and free like the wind is the theme here, the Crown chakra, no attachments. Balanced means spontaneous and creative, uniting the masses, and imbalanced is running away, head in the clouds. To love they connect the dots, break down the walls and let us all be one ethereal being. When imbalanced they can be a space head, very impractical, aloof and intolerant of control/order. Leo can also be intolerant of control, but the Sun is intolerant because it feels it’s own light and self are superior to the current authority, whereas Uranus rejects all authority and hierarchical systems.
Virgo/Mercury
Mercury again, but this time thinking and planning above talking. Virgo’s want to help others and be needed, at service to the world and nature. Good at organizing and cleaning and speaking the plain simple truth. Digestive tract, Stomach and Throat chakras. When weak can be confused, judgemental, anxious, and in need of help. Virgo loves via helping out, being selfless, logical and doing the things that others don’t want to do. By ridding them of having to do something not enjoyable, you offer them love, the whole love and thus love for oneself. But also practical and not to waste or harm this world.
Pisces/Neptune/Jupiter
God of oceans. Dreams, spirit world, addictions, escape, imagination, painting, water, feet, pineal gland. Deeply intuitive and artistic, in contact with the other side when in balance and easily strayed and addicted to substances and isolation when imbalanced. Mainly Third Eye and Crown. As the opposite of Virgo, Pisces loves not by directly helping others but by feeling them, swimming in their energy, giving space for feelings and trusting the unknown. Empathy is very strong and vivid with Pisces.
-- Asteroids are also floating out there and have energy waves that emit from them too. One beautiful component to Tropical Astrology is the attitude to include the newly found celestial bodies like asteroids. The more (accurate) information on what it going on in the sky, the better in my mind.
Asteroids:
Chiron: The wound, the spot that needs healing, but also the spot where you have healing power and lessons to learn and can give others. For example, it might be the case that an acupuncturist that really resonates with a person has chiron in the same sign and has learnt how to heal that realm of consciousness, how to let it restore. For me, my Chiron is in Leo, Self-love, things relating to pride, competition and ego games, and fearless emotional expression are kind of issues in my life. But also laziness, kingliness, where I just expect everything to be done for me. For me the negative qualities of Leo are very present before I became aware of them and the positive qualities have been me activating them with awareness after realizing how low I have been my self esteem. Find your wound, and breathe into it.
Ceres: The nurturer, the mother, a second moon, a nanny, a big sister. Where Ceres is, often will be how one nurtures oneself. A recharge station of sorts, or a place that feels peaceful and at home. A Ceres in Aries may mean a person get’s nurtured, grows and replenishes their deeper energy by focusing on their body, completing goals, and making sure they have a virtuous self/ego. A Ceres in Sagittarius might mean the person fuels up by travelling or talking about philosophy and the universe. Find out where your Ceres is and see if you have habits that relate to the sign, or house it is in.
Pallas Athena: Like the Goddess, this is about social justice, very much so like Libra, relates to the kidneys too. Depending on where Athena is and how it relates to other planets in a chart, and also how strong Libran energy is, will alter how this energy interacts with one’s being. And as usual there are countless combinations and possibilities. Athena relates to balance, but could signify a place of strong or weak balance, or it could be a place where we have a gift that allows us to cause balance, or a place that needs attention this life for balance to happen. Look at your own chart, keep in mind the concept of balance, and see how you think balance relates to Capricorn, or House 5, whatever sign and house it happens to be in.
Vesta: This is the Home and the Hearth. It is like Where the Moon and Ceres live. Also very Cancer-esque in it’s nature. The asteroids add a lot of feminine energy into the interpretations of charts, which is nice. Vesta can represent where you feel most at home, where you can grow/be in peace. It could represent people that feel like family, or it could represent a part of the chart that feels without a home and hearth and needs that care. Asteroids, coming hundreds of years after many of the interpretations and simply being linked to Roman Gods, makes their interpretations even less technical and more intuitive based than meanings for the planets like Mars and Venus.
If you go to search on many sites the meanings of these asteroids, and then go to the Roman God’s on wikipedia, they mean pretty much the same things. It is like a copy and paste. These tiny asteroids may not mean the same things as these God’s which we happened to name them after. With the planets, we knew about them and had traits aligned with them before the gods existed in Roman and Greek mythology, and that is because you can see Mars and the other planets in the sky, and people observed them and felt their energies for thousands of years. It came to be Mars has a fiery energy, and Moon a watery energy. This is not a fact, but an observation of the invisible world of feelings that makes a lot of sense, even given the physical characteristics of these bodies.
These asteroids are very feminine, very feely. That invisible world is where we need to start when interpreting them. It is that way with most things in life, but when you have certain tried, tested and true building blocks, you don’t have to dive nearly as deep into the invisible, you can stay in the known.
Juno: This one is the commitment, the marriage, the strong bond. Like a mature Venus, married and all grown up, dedicated to her family and career. Can represent who your wife/husband/partner will be, or where your career will lie. My Juno is in the tenth house in Virgo, to me it means I will be committed to helping others/nature as my career and my long-lasting partner will be too.
There are many asteroids, like Lucifer, Fortuna, Hygiea, etc. If you go to astro.com you will be able to find a list of asteroid numbers and an extended chart section to view them.
Chakras and a Creative Meditation
For the chakras and planets, here is my current view:
*~o~*
Crown = Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Sun
Third Eye = Neptune, Moon, Jupiter
Throat = Mercury, Venus, Uranus
Heart = Sun, Venus, Moon
Solar Plexus = Mars, Sun, Moon
Sacral = Jupiter, Venus/Mars, Moon
Root = Saturn, Mars, Pluto, Neptune
The list is ordered by most prevalent to least prevalent from left to right, but all still significant nevertheless.
If you are unfamiliar with the chakras, here is a quick explanation of them:
Chakras are energy centers, balls, swirls, stores, etc. Concentrations of energy. There is a lot of electricity from our nervous system, energy from digestion, motion of bones, contraction and relaxation of muscles, fluids moving and creating kinetic energy, and the electromagnetic energy coming off all the different cells. Our body has less energy creating cells, tissues, organs, etc. in the extremities (arms and legs). Chakras are the generally more energy dense areas along the spine, where there are many organs, processes, neural glands, and so on.
The Root chakra is around the tailbone, it’s closest to earth, relates to Red, Earth, Slow, Survival, Shelter, Food, Fear, Connection to Gaia, Bones, Structure, Simple, Practical, Stability, Security, etc. You can picture a red glowing aura of any size, shape and tempo around your tailbone area.
No judgement, no fear, let those go gently if they arise, and instead simply let observation, imagination, and feelings happen around the Root chakra. Just give a few breathes and attentions to it. Always remember time does not exist.
Then add an Orange Aura at the Belly Button. This is the Sacral chakra, which relates to flow, water, emotions, sensuality, sex and genitals, dance, guilt, repression of emotions, duality and unity, tides, creativity, graceful or stormy, peaceful or dry, waters of any kind. Here we can see how we feel guilty or restrictiveness on our sexuality, creativity, and feelings of emotions, our own and others. We can also see how we dance with the flow of life, how we let ourselves enjoy pleasures, feel happiness or heart-break, draw or paint, or loving to masturbate, all the activities there are to satiate the feeling.
Forgiveness is a default, if you let it be. Forgive yourself and love who you truly are without any shame, to let the waters move and flow, in or out. Fast or slow. Stormy seas, or tranquil rivers. You are not the waters of the sacral chakra, so you are allowed to drop fear and feel whatever it happens to be that you feel; no labels, just flowing feelings, always there to be felt.
Then maybe, with a little tiny bit more self-love than usual, just trusting in your existence, simply because you are worthy of existence. And existence is a very worthy candidate for being loved, whenever and forever.
It's pretty cool.
To be hot is a relative and not you
The shame is an illusion, as with guilt and fear. The shame of the Solar Plexus is allowed to be burnt away.
The Solar Plexus is fire, yellow, it’s at the cusp of your ribcage, a little whole there if you feel around.
The heart of the sage.
It is our stomach, our motivation, decisions, even our ego/self in a way. The center of our gravity in this body. Willpower, drive, action, manifestation, movement, and goals/achievement.
Add yellow to the orange and the red to make a beautiful fire or sun just below your solar plexus. Take deep, large, even vigorous breathes if it feels nice.
As you inhale
As you breathe air into you lungs, and that air (which is called prana, chi, meaning energy/lifeforce) enters your bloodstream and get’s used to create energy in all of our cells by mitochondria
Make that fire bigger
Fan the flame
Literally
Breathe Deep!
Let your inner firestar get large, and trust that your light is of love, is of goodness, and it will not burn anything that is true.
When you exhale
Let the fire die down a bit, let it relax
Relax, but you do not need to go back to where you started
Relaxing might mean the same size but different quality
Do this for 6 breathes
Breathe in- intensify the firestar, let it grow and interact with all that it can
Always with love and an inner+outer smile as icing on the cake
Breathe out and
Relax
Gentle
Now, after 6 breathes
Let it go
Let the star go and be whatever it will
It could stay the same, it could expand to infinity, it could just dissolve,...anything
Detach and let it be it’s own thing now.
We are up to the Heart now, at least that’s the idea, hahaha, he haaa. Here there are leaves, green chlorophyll, and feelings. Emotions, love, regret and grief. The air element. The center of our energy. The Solar plexus was the pivot point for our physical mass, but the heart is the center of our Aura. The heart produces the greatest electromagnetic frequency in the body.
“HeartMath has recorded the heart to be approximately 60 times greater electrically and up to 5,000 times stronger magnetically than the brain. This awareness places the brain relatively weak in comparison to the heart.”
A quote from an article referring to a study done by the HeartMath studio.

The heart is your emotional pivot point. Striving towards that eternal, and blissful, compassionate love that resides ever deeper in the heart center. It requires help and cooperation from all chakras, and your own consciousness to bring the love out of the heart continuously, as a life-path.
Let yourself focus on her feeling, visualizing green only if you truly wish.
You can imagine the people or things you love most.
Or
You can simply love that feeling
It doesn’t need to be familiar
The feeling is you
You are allowed to love it, just as an intention
You don’t need to be sexy, or rich, or successful, or popular, or pure or perfect or a yogi,or as furry as animals or anything
You are always allowed to love that feeling
This feeling, you and us
The entirety of humanity here together feeling the same cosmos.
All the little insects, all the furry bats and hogs, all the postures of cows and the fruits and leaves on trees. All of it here together. This is the heart. The heart is the everything, because love resides in everything
.
Every moment is able to be loved, and to be loved by you no less.
Say it: Say “I love ____”
Soft or hard
Loud or quiet, anyway you want
Just speak the truth, the throat can emit. The Throat chakra is our voice, it is sound, it is a bridge from the heart to the mind, and glows blue like the sky, like that which is above the air. Lies we tell ourselves and the world block our and toxify our throat and neck. The truth is that we are all connected and here to follow our path. This unique infinite, never before experienced path, that is your life. Our life.
And it never ends. It just changes, from one mindset to the next, from one body to the next, from one life to the next.
You can see and imagine anything, and do anything. Your third eye is brimming with imagination, light, and the unknown. Breathe into both your third eye, which is in your brain between your eyebrows, and your heart. No need for expectations, we do not know what will be experienced when we connect the two.
Like a highway of energy going back and forth, not very forceful though, Organic and natural. If the default seems difficult and tense, it’s okay. Don’t give up on the connection.
The purple light of imagination can merge with the green feelings of the heart. Like northern lights wrapping around a giant leafy oak tree. The light descends from the heavens, swimming in the sky, until it falls, pulled towards the lovely trees. The forest so green and interconnected. All the leaves moving in unison with the wind. Woven
The air of the heart, the one wind that is all over this planet Earth.
We are all built to connect the dots, and evolve into our best selves.
Please, allow your mind to love and go to your heart, see what you learn, see what needs to be felt
And then when you are done, you let go.
The crown is detachment even from love
The rainbow and the empty
You are a rainbow of colors, energies, thoughts, feelings, and beyond
And you are given absolute authority to observe your true self
The self that came from stars, that self that is connected to all that is
The self that is allowed to be creative and allowed to feel love
I didn’t grant you this authority to love and exist
This, us, her, you, granted it
Keep feeling, keep seeing,
keep growing <3

Destiny, Talents, and Applying Astrology in Everyday life.
Quiz #3, the final quiz! :)
7) Do you have a preference between any of the astrology systems? Why do you prefer that which you prefer?
8) What planet rules the Liver? Spleen? Heart? Brain?
9) How do you make Rahu and Ketu join back together?
--My dream is to help make it so the people that live in all these tiny little boxes, can live happily, easily, creatively, healthily, and with as much love as possible, through astrology, diet, yoga and art/creations. These huge cities take up a lot of resources and facilitate a lot of suffering around the world, but they don’t have to if the habits and lifestyles of people change to one’s that feel even better
The Next Step
Is up to you, or more accurately, us.
Astrology is what it is, like pretty much all subject of knowledge, because of all the unique, different, individuals that connected with it and built off of it. There is no subject that is done
It is never done
EVER!
I type this loudly, because it is fact. Argue in your head all you wish about whether or not evolution/reality is eternal or not. It won’t change the fact that it is.
We are learning so much about what is possible. Anything.
Yogi’s and monks and geniuses have been proving it for millenia. Sure it takes time and certain patterns to make certain realities come about, but rest assured any reality and shape is possible, at least for a bit.
Even though crazy things are possible, so are mundane simple things.
Sometimes, someone’s destiny might not be so extravagant on the surface. But rest assured that when you follow destiny, god, love, heart, gut, truth, etc. you will FEEL the way you ought to feel. And you will know overall, even with all the blips of uncertainty, that you are spiralling into your best. Astrology is here to help us, oh so kindly. As are the many disciplines and realms that intimately relate to it, some being yoga, herbalism, self-improvement, ritual and worship, past life regression, prediction, qi gong, meditation, reflection, reducing murphy’s law, shining as bright as you can; anything can relate to astrology, or rather anything can relate to anything with an infinite mind; which you are!
In the end the stars do not confine, define, control or deform us. They are a marker to help us reference who we are and where we are going. We are infinite, beyond, and can take full control of our reality if we want.
Or we can surrender to the ebbs and flows of energy, karma and God.
Both options beautiful. And will happen at various times.
There will be times to plan, and take action, and others to go with the wind, and others to simply enjoy sunsets. Who know what it will be in the end. No one truly knows, because nothing is absolute until it happens in this microsecond of an experienced continuum.
Who knows how Astrology will evolve and aid people. Definitely beyond ego-boosts and identity consciousness. Here is my vision!
1) Apps And softwares that display far more information. One step being having many different systems merged into one chart neatly can help with understanding so much more. Even though I recommend using astronomically accurate zodiacs, there is still something beautiful and useful about the Tropical and other zodiacs, and they show cool things when they are all working together.
2) The solar system is 3D, planets orbiting the sun, and the sun orbiting the black hole. Having a program that displays the actual positions and motions of the planets, and where the constellations are, in a 3d animated form would change so many things about how we use astrology.
-for instance: On the 2D wheel we use for Astrology when a planet is simply a couple degrees from the sun, we do not know if that planet is in its orbit behind or infront of the sun relative to Earth. (For mercury or Venus). Knowing this simple thing would help us understand how the energy of mercury being behind or in front of the sun would differ.
-using this to see from the perspective of other planets or asteroids or points in space
3) Full map of the sky, rather than simply the few constellations we use. Meanings and understandings of all the stars we see. Even deeper understanding of how star energy is affecting us. Move beyond the boundaries of the old ways.
4) Hopefully, Astrology can be used continually in the direction of purpose and healing so that practices like Medical Astrology (mixed with things like Ayurveda or Yoga) can be accepted by the minds of people. It can offer such a precise and well-suited path for an individual to evolve, both naturally and in the way they prefer relative to who they are and where they are at and where they wish to go and where they are going. It can take a doctor or herbalist weeks to figure out what a patient needs in terms of medicine.
Using the associations and alignments in medical astrology one can get to the punchline so much faster sometimes. Especially since it links not only herbs but also yoga and different activities like art or meditation or travel or talking, etc. This is such a strong and diverse base to offer healing and enjoyment for people, and it is honestly not that difficult to use. Because it is so well-rounded, and stems directly from where and how God positions the parts of reality that we can interact with (seeing the stars and planets is like an interaction of light with the eye and brain).
As a narrow scoped / focused healing practitioner, herbalist, massage therapist, counselor, etc. you might be struggling to find the cure for someone in your arsenal. The beautiful thing about this is that the healer can go deep when someone resonates with their portal of healing.
As a practitioner of creative, intuitive, simple and holistic medical astrology you can pretty much use the chart and heart to find what the unique individual needs, or could benefit their balance. The starting gateway is far more open to whom can enter, however the level of deepness is entirely up to the medical practitioner and their skillsets, abilities, stamina, intuition, charisma, confidence, love, alignment etc.
I have been using my astrology and general self-reflection and honesty to analyze what I am good and bad and neutral at. From writing, to singing, to feeling, to listening, to being motivated, to hoola-hooping, to traveling, to grinding, to sex, to anything. What I have been naturally drawn to in life, the things I have a knack for, are so blatantly obvious and mirrored in my Astronomical natal chart.I have a lot of ability to detach from norms and basic ways of thinking and living, I am great helper/servent, excellent at writing, expressing, thinking, eating/cooking, sleeping/napping/cuddling, good at yoga and dance and body stuff, and have a keen eye for beauty/feng shui.
One can use astrology to assist in narrowing down what someone’s best tool’s are and where to apply them in reality to grow and succeed. Weare given so much of what we could ever want or need, and these damn stars link up with us and they help us become even greater. We just need to listen. Trees and nature and psychoactive plants can do this too; help one connect. But for those on computers going to school or work in a few hours or those living in an apartment building,....you know, for the majority of people that don’t get access to beautiful environments or substances (note that substance is just a catalyst for a beautiful internal environment), Medical Astrology could easily save them from so much illness, suffering and hardship, and then produce so much beauty and amazement in the world through helping them offer their gold rather than their bronze.
Like I mentioned in an earlier section, I often felt bad for not being as Aries as other guys, and as manly Mars as the adults expected a guy to be. Even though I knew, before astrology came into my life, that I didn’t need to be a macho man, some of the lack of manliness still bugged me. When I read my chart and saw how my Mars is just very connected to my heart and mind, and would rather support my yin and feminine nature with it’s strong power. Helped me stop doing yoga and exercise out of image, or dogma, and more so for pleasure and love. Helped me accept my artistic and poetic self some more.
Maybe you are attached to certain habits, practices, ways of seeing/being that have been from bad nurturing, not the best environment, etc. and a peak at your chart will help you see that this other skill or habit would be much better to invest your energy and time into.
Who knows?
What the next step is,
Doesn’t matter in the end
But stepping with your heart, the stepping itself, is the significant one.
If you want to know more get a reading from me, I am glad to share and help out!
Star Meditation
So I am a pretty whacky guy, but that is only because I am becoming one with the universe, which is without a doubt very whacky.
As you know, this is always here to help you become one with the universe too...not with me, that would be gross, but with the universe, your universe!
Take anything you know about your chart, that you have learned up until now, and imagine the symbol or symbols that relate to it, like the symbol for Rahu or the symbol for Sagittarius, and throw them into the stars, any direction, doesn’t have to be up.
And then let them go.
No attachment to results.
Breathe.
Breathe.
Now feel, and if you think you can’t feel, imagine, the lights of the stars, all of them! Shining through the ceiling, the walls, the floor, the objects, furniture and beings in the house, through your clothes and your skin, your bones and your teeth, your whole being
The light of the stars, certain wavelengths, are shining through you at every moment, keep your awareness upon these feelings and imaginations of the stars. Allow the sensations in your body to arise. The stars often highlight important parts of our anatomy or energy systems. Remember to pay attention to breathe as you pay attention to the feelings that the stars are guiding.
If you are caught up in these words or in thoughts, let both the breathe and the star energy guide your brain into the appropriate state.
Now I let you be.
Dont lose focus. And Dont feel bad if you do! Just try again with gusto!
And keep going about evolving, the stars will and can lead you forever.
Outro and Important Bitties
So this is the end of the course. I am actually so happy to have been able to share such a condensed stream of consciousness with so many people!
Here is a quick and silly overview of what’s important
In general look at what is true, so looking at the true stars for astrology is recommended.
You are a unique sprout of infinity and will interpret the universe unique from all else, but can always surrender and empathize with any being.
The planets and stars and celestial bodies affect us with their consciousness and various vibrations.
Think for yourself, do not simply adopt and grab onto beliefs willy-nilly, please.
Unfortunately a lot of modern astrology is lost in a bunch of beliefs and is not fully connected to the full nature of the world in relation to the sky.
Let go of needing to identify with things, this will help with seeing a clearer picture.
Meditate on the stars and skies without bias as to what things mean and trust where your energy flows.
No one can define or control the intuitive process, not entirely, so simply allow it to be, release the anxious grip for insight and more, to allow the waves of possibility in your brain states and body positions, and energy fields to alter into something harmonious (er).
You can make any connections and links, the possibilities are endless. You can create so many different layers of interpretation about what everything means.
And that is why you just feel. Because how do we, with our limited knowledge, know which way to look at things? We don’t actually know, we can just think we know and justify it till the day we die. But what remains? Nature remains, the larger consciousness of the universe keeps rolling long past our tiny lifespan. And if some of the eastern sages are right, we reincarnate often back here, continuing in this lovely universe that we cannot control.
Astrology is humbling. The universe or God or Nature, the word doesn’t matter usually, obviously has things figured out more than we do, since it made everything and our bodies/brains, and what humans are doing is causing a bunch of pollution and pain to the world that made us.
In a way, switching viewpoints from Tropical to Awakening or any Astronomically Accurate astrology, is also us switching gears from controlling nature to being united with it and learning from it.
In this way we meditate on the energies of the planets, realizing they are around us at all times, and we can choose to see it: the basic meanings of each planet and sign, which has been the same regardless of being tropical, vedic or sidereal for thousands of years.
These big guys are smarter than I am, let them guide you first and foremost, and me secondary.
In the end I recommend giving a gentle realization to where Rahu/Ketu is in your chart, Use the strength of Ketu to move in the direction of Rahu (which might be scary for some, but you can do it!). They help me fulfill my destiny and they will help you too.
All the loves!

A course on astrology as it was before the western world, combined with all of the new evolutions of our modern time. An overview of how astrology works, how to use it in various ways from reading a chart, to healing with herbs, and meditative guides to accessing the intuitive process.
