Description
We all know that the CAPL is internal programming language used in CANoe environment for simulation and testing. But The Vector CANoe tool also comes along with a .NET API to be used for simulation, test, and snippet programming. This is another programming language extension that can be used in CANoe tool. it is an Automotive Domain Specific Language extension that offers the possibility to use object-oriented programming languages, e.g. C# in the Vector CANoe environment. They provide extended capabilities to structure, to reuse and to debug programs. This course is developed using C# as programming language and .NET4 framework Though there are other .NET programming languages like Visual Basic .NET can be used. At the end of this course candidate will acquire the knowledge on how configure .net editor in CANoe tool, How to create Test module using C# and .NET Api, How configure C# test module in Test Setup window and execute them, How generate reports, How create Configuration specific test libraries, How frame test module using xml and call library test function in the xml test modules and how to create snippets a sort of C# macro and execute is in CANoe Automation tab. For great outcome you should be an Engineer with Electronic background, know basics of C# programming, has CANoe demo installed in your laptop and know basics of system testing.

I started my professional career in 2004 as Embedded Software Developer in an Indian based company called Sands Instrumentation. switched my office to Visteon Technical and Service Centre Pvt Ltd an automotive MNC in Chennai in 2007. Served till 2014 and saw complete life cycle of four automotive products from scratch to launch. I visited UK in 2011 and China in 2012 as part of business assignment through Visteon.
