So we come to the end of our journey with recruitment and selection. It is essential to any department that the people we bring into it, maintain the culture and balance. We need to attract the right candidates who will add value to the team. Having embarked on building a positive culture around collective responsibility, it is paramount that when embarking on recruitment, that we appoint the right person. Get it wrong and the effort put into creating a department of excellence can quickly unravel. In this section I will share with how to avoid such things from becoming a destructive reality.
In the second section we turn to you, the sales manager. You will ensure that your team are given every possible chance of succeeding everyday. You will invest in their wellbeing and career development, but who will look after you. Whilst I cannot dictate your manager, what I can provide you with is a blueprint that will keep you energised and motivated throughout your career. Balance in life is the key to success. You cannot pour from an empty cup, never lose sight that you, just as your team, need to be taken care of.
