Then, the concepts of authenticity and authentic leadership are discussed in terms of their basic roots. Explanations are made on what authentic leadership is. In addition, academic studies by various authors on the factors that constitute authentic leadership are examined and information is provided on the sub-dimensions of authentic leadership. After this, general information is provided on how authentic leadership changes the behaviors of people in an institution. In other words, information is provided on what kind of differences in motivation or job satisfaction occur in people working with a manager who exhibits authentic leadership behaviors. In addition, many studies conducted on what kind of behavioral changes the authentic leadership behaviors displayed by school administrators cause, especially in teachers, in schools are examined and summarized.
