Description

   Assertive communication involves respect for the boundaries of oneself and others. it also presumes an interest in the fulfillment of needs and wants through cooperation. It is very important for  us to understand that assertive people are not cowards, but rather they are people who stand for their own right. Passive communicators are likely to try to influence anyone else because they fear social conflict. Because of this fear, passive communicators do not defend their own personal boundaries or ideas and thus allow aggressive people to abuse or manipulate them. Let remember that assertive people are also willing to defend themselves against aggressive people. for everybody to become more assertive person, practice thinking like one. Assertive people are able to speak calmly and clearly.

   Let learn that assertive language is confident but considerate. When you speak assertively, you will convey respect sincerity and firmness. Be patient and specific when communicating your needs, offering constructive rather than destructive comments and compromising as needed. Often it is very hard to speak your mind at work, but psychologist have  found that those who productively speak their mind at workplace do better at work, have more free time, and have good healthier personal relationships. Assertive employee filll very confident in ensuring that they can confront their superiors for explaination and also contribute their opinion without fear to issues confronting management.
