Are you on the Search for Truth?
Probably, or you wouldn't be here. Many people are not searching. They believe they already KNOW the truth. I am a searcher.
One thing that people enjoy about me is a different way of thinking. I like to question or challenge almost everything. I appreciated the comment a chiropractic colleague made after a course.
"I love having you in the room. You get the teeter-totter going and both sides are hanging on for dear life. Then I get to see where everybody is at."
Every issue in life seems to have multiple sides. I don't want to tell you what to think. I'd like to help you with how to think. I'd like to help you challenge your own beliefs and reach your true potential.
I like to connect the dots from diverse fields. My undergrad major was chemistry. I completed an MBA. Then, worked for IBM for three years as a systems engineer. I resigned to complete the doctor of chiropractic program and have been in practice since 1985. In 2002, I became a licensed real estate salesperson and also maintain that license.
Teaching is my passion. I have been a lecturer at Palmer College of Chiropractic and Western Washington University. I've taught chiropractic philosophy online since 2004.
I've written books on chiropractic, health care and real estate. All were to give you my perspective and help you search for truth.
I've been married for over 40 years. We are quite proud of our four grown children, their two spouses and grandson.
According to Socrates, "The unexamined life is not worth living." I'd like to give you the tools I have found most helpful to examine your life and find peace, happiness and understanding.
I have created Affolter Academy because of my passion for teaching. I want to help us create a world where everybody can be successful and reach their potential.
We must go beyond the fighting and polarization to create systems where we can all benefit. That requires a different way of thinking.
