Description

Welcome to Art Therapy for Grief Healing.

This course offers a compassionate, non‑clinical art‑therapy–inspired approach to grief healing. Through guided creative exercises, reflective prompts, and grounding rituals, students learn how to safely express emotions, release stored pain, and reconnect with meaning after loss. No artistic skill is required. The focus is process, not perfection.

This course is suitable for those grieving the loss of a loved one, a relationship, identity, health, or life chapter.

Dear heart,

I’m honored to welcome you to this deeply personal and healing journey. Whether you are navigating fresh grief, carrying the weight of long-held sorrow, or simply seeking gentle tools to process emotional pain, this course was created for you—with tenderness, care, and respect for your unique experience.

Grief touches us all. It comes in waves, in silence, in memories, and in moments we don’t always expect. There is no "right" way to grieve—but there are compassionate ways to move through it. And art is one of the most powerful.

In this course, we will use art as a sacred tool for expression, reflection, and release. No art experience is needed. This is not about creating something “pretty”—it’s about creating something true. Your emotions, your story, your healing—all of it belongs here.

You’ll be guided through a series of gentle, expressive art therapy practices designed to help you:

Process grief through drawing, painting, journaling, and collage
Connect with your inner child and emotional body
Honor the person, pet, or part of yourself you’ve lost
Release guilt, sadness, anger, or numbness in healthy ways
Create rituals and keepakes for remembrance and closure

You’ll also receive printable prompts, reflection sheets, and symbolic creative exercises you can revisit anytime your heart needs support. These sessions are here to hold space for your truth, without judgment, pressure, or expectation.

Art therapy is not a fix. It’s a soft light in the dark. It’s a way to say what words can’t always express. And through this course, you may find comfort, clarity, and even quiet moments of peace—one brushstroke at a time.

Please go gently. Take breaks. Cry when you need to. Smile when you can. You are not alone here.

I am so deeply grateful that you’ve chosen to show up for yourself in this way. May this course be a comforting hand, a creative companion, and a safe space for your healing.

With all my heart,
Your Instructor, Beti.
