Art for Beginners : Daily Cartoon Drawing lessons

Welcome! We will discuss the simple tools and materials you will need for the drawing course. We will also be doing 9 simple introductory exercises to get you familiar with the types of lines and shapes that we will be using throughout the course. Let's get started!

Using simple lines and shapes we are going to draw a cartoon bird riding a skateboard. The simple techniques in this lesson are designed to warm up students and get you comfortable using markers to draw on the paper while having fun.

We are going to explore the way to color in the lines and shapes of the drawing we made in Lecture #2. We are going to start learning how to shade and make gradients with crayons to enhance our coloring effects. Grab your crayons!
