The exercises we will explore aim to calm the nervous system, while letting your inner world be expressed in safe ways, in a judgment - free zone. These exercises are also designed to unwind those trapped energies, emotions, feelings, stressors that often have no words. We will be using basic mark making skills as your starting point. No special or expensive supply's needed. We will start where you are at and build a strong foundation for future Soul Sojourns.
Creativity helps bring clarity and focus while remaining in the present moment. Art helps us explore and process our inner workings when words are not enough, it can help process pain, unresolved emotions and lessens stress. Creating art can be immensely beneficial on your healing journey. In this course my intention is to help you experience Art as Medicine - a salve for your soul.
This course is not meant to take the place of treatment by a medical professional, nor is it a diagnostic tool. This is meant to be an additional resource in your self care tool box.
