Hi. I am a native speaker of Arabic with more than 15 years of experience teaching English language, both face-to-face and online. I have a vast experience in writing customized courses and training materials.
I have had the chance to teach English in Vietnam, Jordan and Malaysia. I have always enjoyed teaching English as a foreign language and I believe a big part of that is because of the extensive resources available to English teachers. I am transferring methodology and resources I have used in teaching English into the teaching of Arabic language with the hope to motivate and help those who are interested in learning, and teaching, classical Arabic.
I have chosen Church Arabic as the genre for my first course as it forms a rich part of Arabic literature with great linguistic and historical significance. Not only is Church the only connection to classical Arabic for many Christians around the world, but Church Arabic offers great insights into the history of Christianity.
I would encourage all Arabic learners to invest time in learning classical Arabic as it opens the door to a tremendous wealth of literary work and knowledge. It is a lot easier than it seems!
