Creating a Scenario Practice Question - APR
    • Questions on the APR computer-based examination are not like exam questions from college, where you often simply repeat back information you heard in lecture.  They are “process-based” questions.  What’s that?  It involves the need to understand the information, but it also takes into account how you use the information.   These activities will help you understand and anticipate the type of questions on the APR Computer-Based Examination by forming questions you think you might find.

    • Try to form a question that fits the format for the APR Examination.

      • First, review this handout – Examination Question Formation.
      • Then skim the suggested readings from the APR Study Guide or the texts from the short bookshelf of recommended texts.
      • Then create a scenario YOU think you might find on the Examination, with some plausible answers. Post your question, and answer.  Ask other candidates to modify or change your question if they think it does not match the Question Formation Handout.

    • Post your question for others in the discussion forum.
  • APR Submit Question1:46

After reviewing the Question Formation handout and the question formation presentation, develop your question and submit it in the discussion area.
