Description

This course will deep dive into the Design Thinking Concept and Process to help aspiring social entrepreneurs jumpstart their entrepreneurship journey. Each phase of the Design Thinking Process will be thoroughly discussed such that the students can apply the concept and execute the process themselves.

Towards the end of the course, in the Course Exercise section (Project Time), the students will be able to apply what they have learned from the lectures within the course through a guided project wherein they need to fill-out an "Innovation Guide" template provided. After completing this Innovation Guide, the students will have a clear idea already about the product or service offering or solution that they will work on for their target customers or users that is addressing a particular problem. The completed Innovation Guide will be a helpful reference as well for the students as they start their own social venture.
