Master the basics of Flash, a 1996 Macromedia animation software, and explore its interface, including stage, timeline, toolbar, panels, and library, to create interactive animations without coding.
Explore the three types of symbols in flash: graphic, button, and movie clip—and learn to create, convert, and reuse them via the library and instances.
Organize objects on the stage with layers, add and rename layers, and lock or unlock them. Create animation by converting frames to keyframes and moving objects across layers.
Discover tweening in Flash animation to move objects without frame-by-frame drawing. Master motion tween and shape tween to morph shapes and colors between key frames along a motion path.
Use a motion guide layer to define an object's movement along a path, linking a normal layer to a guide layer, and animate the object along that path.
Learn to use masking in Flash to selectively hide and reveal content on a layer, using circular masks and spotlight effects to show only the desired area.
The course on ‘Animation in Flash' is designed to provide the Basic understanding about Animation. The aim of this course is to help the students to
1. Understand basics of 2D Animation.
2. Understand the Graphical User Interface of Macromedia Flash Software with practical demonstrations.
This course is divided into six different sections. The first section is Introduction of Flash Software which gives the idea about different components of Flash like Menu bar, Tool Bar, Stage area (Working Area), Properties inspector, Timeline panel, Layers window and different windows like Align, Transform, Color mixer and Color Swatches . The second section elaborates different types of symbols used in Flash like Graphic, Button and Movie Clip. The third section explains Layers part which includes performing various operations on layers. The fourth section is of Tweening which includes Motion and Shape Tweening. Next section is of Motion Guide layer which guides for object animation. Last section is of masking which elaborates how to control the content that your audience sees.
Topics include:
Choosing a document type
