Welcome to Anchor. As we embark on our journey, we need to take time and evaluate where we are today and what our lives look like. This critical analysis of our life will help us be able to see what areas we need to work on and help us celebrate areas we have been good at. It will also play a huge role in helping us set goals that will move us forward. Anchor is a voyage on the Seas of life, and we need to be clear on where the voyage is taking us.
Through this first week, we will be looking at each of the major areas of life, such as health and relationships, and assessing where we are at in each area. By taking a snapshot of life as it is today
you will be able to more accurately set goals that will enhance and benefit your life and help you anchor your life in all aspects.
Week One is an evaluation, and you must be brutally honest with yourself as you go through the daily evaluations. Giving thought to your current life scenario helps you to identify foundations upon which to build your future goals and dreams. If that foundation is not solid, you may find it more challenging to reach and achieve the objectives you set for yourself.
Together, let us look closely at your life as we get to evaluate each area of your life per day and take time to pray for yourself in that direction.
Evaluate your relationships, score them from 1 to 10, and foster supportive, accountable connections with family, workmates, and church communities to improve your quality of life.
Explore how health means more than the absence of disease, and begin five things to honor God by caring for your body, aligning with week two of the anchor manual.
Prioritize daily physical activity to counter sedentary living; walk, jog, swim, or do home chores, and set immediate goals to boost brain function and mental health.
Cultivate real relationships by choosing respect for God and others, listening, inspiring, and honoring people to build them up and grow together.
Apply week five lessons to transform your relationships by changing your actions, avoiding self-centeredness, valuing others, and practicing respect, encouragement, appreciation, and listening to others to live at peace.
Embrace a journey of personal transformation as you explore the keys to growth, learn, and become the person you ought to be by using the right keys today.
Discover the first key to personal growth: seeing the possibilities and forming a vision of who you can become. Embrace discipline and perseverance to pursue growth rather than excuses.
Choose learning over mere education by applying information to transform daily life, seize time and chance, and step out to make meaningful changes.
Discover the biblical truth that God is omnipresent—present everywhere at the same time—so you are never alone and can pray anytime, anywhere with unwavering trust.
“Anchor, An Adventure of Faith” is a transformational and impactful course that will help you live your life for the compass and not the clock and help you live by design and not by chance. It is a learning process that is tailored to set you on a journey of personal transformation in every area of your life and challenge you to take responsibility and begin to work on these areas.
The class begins by helping you evaluate five critical areas of your life. After the evaluation, you embark on a journey of transformation that enables you to work through areas such as your health in order to live better; relationships in order to live a more meaningful life; finances in order to live an enjoyable life; faith in order to live a richer life, and several others and it brings you to a place of committing to living a transformed life.
Anchor will help you discover your purpose in life, teach you to live for the compass and not the clock, inspire you to live your life by design and not by chance, and equip you to be a self-leader in every area.
