Description
Hello everyone! I am so excited that you have made the decision to INVEST in YOURSELF by going through this course. It has been said that the best investment you could make is in yourself, and I am a big proponent of always striving to improve yourself by learning more.
Before going into the course details, I would love to give you a quick background about me and why I absolutely love what I do. After receiving my Doctorate of Physical Therapy and working for a few years, I decided that I wanted to challenge myself and expand my knowledge even further. Sometime before COVID started, I opened my own mobile practice, in addition to pursuing a Fellowship in Manual Physical Therapy. After years of intense learning, I am extremely proud to have completed the program and be officially recognized as a Fellow of the American Association of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. I understand that many other people have much more impressive accolades & accomplishments, but I wanted to include this information to give you a sense about how much I truly love learning. I sincerely hope you can catch onto some of the excitement and enjoy everything that is included in this intro course about Bones.
Students will learn the basic anatomy of the human skeleton (specifically bones), unique features of the major bones of the body, joints that these bones create along with common injuries that can affect the bones. Students, after each lecture will have a short quiz to assess content that was taught in the course. Each video is provided with high quality photos that promote good understanding of the bones of the body. When you complete the course, I would absolutely love your feedback about what you enjoyed, as well as other courses you would like to see in the future!

Instructor
Hi, my name is Katherine and I am a Physical Therapist living in the great state of Texas. I love being able to work with so many people everyday helping them recover from challenges to help them achieve their goals.
Besides loving anatomy, science and all things therapy I love to spend my free time taking dance classes, working out and listening to music. If I had the choice, I'd rather spend time outside moving around than indoors.
I love animals and spending time with friends and family. Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my bio and I hope you enjoy this course.
