Description

A handmade, very-hard-to-kill plant makes a great gift for your friend who just can´t keep a living plant alive. Or you make one for yourself to hang in your camper or the bathroom with no window.

In this class I´ll show you step by step which stitches you will need, how to crochet the different pieces (the pot, soil, and the plant strings) and how to assemble them. The plant hanger consists of knotted strands of yarn, so I´ll show that as well.

You´ll also learn how you can easily crochet little hearts instead of the pearls to make a string of hearts.

I created a PDF file with the written crochet pattern for the hanging plant. You can download that for free, so you can follow along.

Tools & Materials needed:

- A crochet hook 2,5-3,5

- Yarn - I use 100% cotton (different green tones, brown, black, whatever you want your pot to look like)

- A tapestry needle

- Scissors

- Some small cut textile scraps (you can also use the ends of yarn you cut off)

Also feel free to tag me on Instagram (@donikahlhoefer) if you post some pictures there.

Let me know if you have any question – I´m always happy to help!

Now grab your hook and yarn and give it a go :)
