Hunting Our first step is to find the profitable product on amazon. How we do that? We decide the cateogry like kitchen items, automotive, kids toy, etc. Then we hunt specific product according to our needs (budget etc). We use different tools like Jungle scout, Helium 10 to analyse the product is profitable or not.
Sourcing After finalizing our product the next step is sourcing of the product. We search to find good manufacturer for sourcing so we could get more and more profits.
Launching After finalizing the sourcing we create dummy listing. For listing we need asin, asin is the unique identity of the product. We have to buy this asin from different websites. After dummy listing we optimize the listing (good description, good quality of products).
Ranking Now we have to rank our product on the first page of the amazon, for this we use the strategies of giveaways, add to cart and ppc campaigns.
Amazon Account types
There are two types of amazon seller accounts.
1=professional account (can be created on personal or business details)
2=individual account (can be created on personal or business details)
In a professional account amazon will charge 39.99$ monthly from the seller. Also, The registered company is required to open the amazon professional account, the benefit of this account is, we can launch the products of maximum category. Unlimited products can be sold.
In an individual account amazon will charge 0.99$ monthly and on each sale. Also, we are restricted to add only forty products to our store, and we are restricted on some categories
I prefer to set up a professional amazon account because, I will create your professional business account, and on day when I list our product, amazon will refund our previous monthly fees we had paid...and will start charging monthly fees when we will live our product on amazon store.

Listings product
To list product on amazon we have two methods
i) Listing product with GTIN
ii) Listing Product without GTIN, getting GTIN exemption approval from amazon.
i) what is GTIN, it is a global trade index number. It is the unique id for the product on amazon, we pur-chase gtin from gs1 platform with 30$ for each product. For example if we list blue pens we will bu-y one gtin for blue pen and we can sell, then if we put 1000000 ….Blue pens the one gtin id is enough for them, it will be a one time pur-chase.
ii) What is gtin Exemption!!
We get permission from amazon to s-ell products without giving them any gtin, what are the drawbacks? If we list products without GTIN any hij-acker can hij-ack our listings. But in this case we can not use our brand name, we will put the brand name as a generic. If we want to use a brand name in GTIN exemption, then we have to get Brand approval from amazon, before we list our product on Amazon. How can we get brand approval?
We will update pictures of our product on amazon , the brand name should be clearly visible on the product or it’s packaging. The seller address and product attributes should be clearly visible on the product or on it’s packaging. If these attributes are not available in our product then we will use the brand name as a generic.
