They are a fairly new ink to the market and they sent me these to try. They are called T-Rex inks. The colors are lovely and the bottles are a bit larger (20 ML) than Ranger or Jacquard alcohol inks.
This time we'll try some Derwent Inktense pencils (72 colors not 100) for the doodle work along with a black sharpie.
This class is about exploring and intuitive painting. Each one of these does not need to be a masterpiece.
I want you to enjoy the process more than the painting itself. Of course, your painting may still turn out to be the BEST THING EVER!
Realized after the video posted, that I said frame under UV light - (GLASS) is what I meant to say.
(Sorry I call it my Menobrain). See, like I said don't be afraid to fail (Wink wink).
"I will forever be an Art Explorer"
Trying new things out, testing, and playing.
Do you remember when you were a kid?
You wondered how does this work?
What if I do this?
How come?
Why?
Well, why should art be any different now? When I play I find out what happens and can use those "tests" in my paintings later.
I thought I would walk you through a few of my playtimes in the course, and let you see that not all paintings are about the outcome. I hope you enjoy it.
How to ask questions, suggest tips, or share your projects.
