I've broken the class content into easy, manageable steps for RESIN beginners.
We will learn several important concepts like how to use alcohol inks in resin to create dazzling designs, learn when your resin is cured, we'll cover 3 different types of Gold paints that are my favorites to use with this medium and we will cover my step by step process to create one of a kind unique art pieces.
This course will give you the skills and materials to develop your unique fluid art peices. I'll take you through the entire video of my steps and process and I'll give you all my supplier information.

If you are watching instagram, pinterest, and fluid art videos lately you have probably seen many use the incredible GOLD paint. Let's cover Pinata Gold and see how it reacts with Alcohol inks.
Learn how to use powered pigments with alcohol inks.
In this lecture we will cover how to use a gold paint pen with alcohol ink.
Students will prep their aquabord and learn what tapes to use and how to create a border for your resin and inks.
Students will begin the painting project using alcohol ink colors of their choice. In this lecture they will work on blending their colors to create a soft and flowing fluid art piece and begin to add mixative paint.
The next step is adding the powered pigment layer to the painting.
Final details will be added using the Gold paint pen. Learn to create more finer and more controlled lines.
In this lecture we will discuss proper preparations and safety when using alcohol inks and resin.
Learn to properly mix your art resin, using correct measurements and tools.
Let's begin pouring the art resin. We will cover how to remove air bubbles and cover your resin to provide the best clear finish.
Students will remove tape and learn about timing your resin for easy clean up.
For this project we will be using Claybord by Ampersand, Brea Reese Alcohol inks, but feel free to use any brand or colors in your project.
Let's talk about tape and how aluminum tape is wonderful to use with resin and heat.
Student will begin to create an abstract art piece using alcohol inks. We will begin by adding a few different colors and create movement by thinning out the inks with alcohol.
In this lecture students will use Water based inks and see how they react with the claybord and alcohol based inks.
Students will learn to add wonderful creative lines and texture to their art pieces using my special secret tool.
Creating a lacing effect to add more depth and texture to your abstract. We'll cover how to create this effect using alcohol inks with your resin.
Carefully removing the aluminum tape is important so that you do not damage your wood or the resin. We'll cover my process.
