What you'll learn

  • Set up Android Studio, Claude Code and Supabase, and choose the right Claude model for each task
  • Direct an AI agent with a professional workflow: design document, written plan, then small verified tasks
  • Keep the agent's context clean and undo a bad turn with /rewind, hooks, your own skills and your own subagents
  • Build a React Native and Expo app with a real Supabase backend, Row Level Security and sample data
  • Add email and Google sign-in and prove the security policies with an intruder account
  • Build an Explore tab with search and filters, a listing detail screen with a photo gallery, a map and a calendar
  • Take bookings with Stripe's native payment sheet in test mode, confirmed by a webhook in an Edge Function
  • Build a host panel with photo uploads, then polish the app and build an APK with EAS Build

Description

“This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.”

Learn to build a complete Booking App and to work with AI the way serious developers do.

This course is not "copy and paste prompts until it works." It's a proven method for directing an AI coding agent (Claude Code) through a real project, from start to finish: a cross-platform app for Android and iOS with React Native, Expo and Supabase, with bookings, Stripe payments and a host dashboard included. You test everything on the Android emulator from the very first classes.

What you'll learn about working with AI:

  1. How to choose the right model for each task and find your way around the agent's terminal: commands, sessions, modes and permissions

  2. How to brainstorm with the AI before writing a single line of code, until you have a design document

  3. How to turn that design into an implementation plan written to disk (not kept in the agent's memory, where it gets lost)

  4. How to execute that plan one small f the plan"), without letting the AIget out of hand or jump ahead

  5. How to size each request, and what you should never hand to an agent

  6. How to keep the context clean: measure it with /context and start a fresh session for each task, so

  7. the AI doesn't carry confusion forw

  8. How to write the project's rules inws them in every session, and turnthem into hooks that enforce themselves

  9. How to undo a bad turn with /rewind

  10. How to create your own skill and your own subagent: a security reviewer that checks the agent's work

  11. How to use subagents to audit the code and split up heavy work without cluttering the main sessio

  12. How to let the agent query the real database through MCP and look at the phone through screenshot

  13. How to read what the agent wrote, get a second opinion and run a security review before going to production

App Features:

  1. Sign-in with email and with Google

  2. A Supabase database secured with Row Level Security (RLS), tested with an intruder account

  3. A listings feed with search and filters

  4. A detail screen for each listing with a photo gallery, a map and an availability calendar

  5. A host dashboard: publish listings with photos uploaded from the phone, block dates and see the bookings you receive

  6. Bookings and payment with Stripe's native payment sheet, confirmed by a webhook in an Edge Function

  7. A "Trips" screen with loading, error and empty states

  8. Version control with GitHub

  9. A production setup and an APK built in the cloud with EAS Build

  10. Extra: dark mode with a custom accent color, using Expo's official plugin and its design skill

Who this course is for:

  • Complete beginners in mobile development, with no programming experience and no experience with AI agents
