What you'll learn

  • Redesign the workflow around AI, not only the task: take 110+ ready prompts, checklists and procedures in 20 downloadable resources
  • Map the current workflow into steps, decisions and handoffs with the Current Workflow Map tool
  • Decide which steps stay with people and where AI contributes with the Human and AI Workflow Design tool
  • Set acceptance criteria, reviewers and exception routes with the Workflow Quality Plan
  • Redesign roles and count review and rework in the workload with the Role and Workload Map
  • Document the new process with operating instructions, ownership and version control in the Redesigned Process Specification
  • Use AI in HR operations: automation, people analytics, recruitment, learning and performance measurement
  • Plan the implementation of AI and robotics in HR operations
  • Use ready AI prompts and see AI services for HR on screen, including ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot
  • Learn with Mike, the #1 HR instructor on Udemy: 1,800,000+ enrollments, 170,000 students, about 200 books on Amazon

Description

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

Adding AI to a task does not automatically improve the workflow around it. The sequence, handoffs, responsibilities and quality checks need a design of their own. Here are 112 tools for that: 55 ready-to-use AI prompts, checklists and procedures, 7 models and methods, 45 services shown on screen and 5 interactive tools.

Open a lecture, take the tool, map one workflow this week.

Why a faster step can slow the process

A faster draft can still wait in the same approval queue. Work removed from one role reappears as checking and correction work in another. When the process stays unchanged, local improvements leave the overall result unreliable and the new responsibilities unclear.

What changes after this course

The relationship between people and AI becomes visible. Each step has an input, an output, a receiving role and a clear condition for completion. Preparation, review and approval are distinguished, so accountability does not disappear behind a tool. And you have a process specification a process owner can inspect before implementation planning begins.

A note on the structure

The first five lessons are the workflow redesign core, with five interactive browser tools and a fictional process, so you can practise without a live pilot. The original lessons follow as broader foundations and HR examples: AI capabilities, automation, people analytics, recruitment, learning, performance measurement and robotics.

What is inside: 112 tools, counted lecture by lecture

You do not have to take this number on trust. Open any lecture and read its description: every tool inside is listed there by name.

  • 20 downloadable resources: the lecture presentations plus 5 interactive tools, from the Current Workflow Map to the Redesigned Process Specification
  • 55 ready-to-use tools inside the presentations:
  • 24 ready AI prompts: current workflow mapping, human and AI task allocation, competency assessment matrix
  • 14 checklists: current workflow map review, human and AI workflow design, ownership of process exceptions, AI data security and ethics
  • 8 step-by-step procedures and workflows: AI data analysis and reporting, AI implementation in HR, Kotter eight-step change model, robot integration pilot
  • 4 question lists and scripts: source clarification, workflow redesign, employee adaptation to robots
  • 2 formulas and metric sets: role workload calculation, remaining role capacity calculation
  • 2 templates and sample documents: process step instructions, employee development plan
  • 1 scorecard
  • 7 models and methods explained with examples: quality gates, version control, Lewin change model
  • 45 services shown on screen, including ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Taskade, Workable and SeekOut

Where the tools are

  • Workflow redesign core (5 sections, 25 tools). Process steps and handoffs, human and AI task allocation, quality checks, roles and workload, the process specification.
  • AI in HR: foundations and applications (5 sections, 92 tools). AI and robotics foundations, automation and people analytics, recruitment, learning, performance measurement and implementation.

Who is teaching

I am Mike, the #1 HR instructor on Udemy, with 1,800,000+ course enrollments from 170,000 students, and the author of about 200 books on Amazon. I built the people system at Preply as it became a unicorn and worked at Wargaming, iDeals and Alfa-Bank across 20 years in HR. I hold PHRi, SHRM-CP and HCI sHRBP certifications and represent HRCI in Eastern Europe.

At the STB TV channel my recruiters told me they spent half of every Friday counting candidates and interviews for the weekly report. Ten people losing half a day is two people's work for a week. We introduced a system where a recruiter only marked each call, interview or test, and the report was built from those marks. I also learned that a process needs as much detail as its task requires: my internal transfer procedure had nine steps and no flowchart, because none was needed.

How to use the course

Start with the five core lessons and run one real workflow through all five tools. Then use the HR sections as examples and foundations. Section and lecture titles show how many tools are inside, and each lecture description lists them by name.

What is included

  • 16 lectures across 10 sections, 8 hours
  • 20 downloadable resources: lecture presentations and five interactive tools
  • 112 tools across the lessons, including 45 services shown on screen
  • A 10-question practice test, a quiz and a role play
  • Lifetime access to all materials
  • Active instructor support in the Q&A section
