AI Literacy and Employability Skills is designed to help you convert your written work into the spoken word. Each lesson provides step-by-step instructions for you.
This information will help you.
1 Think about what the instructions are for and what sort of things you might be asked to do.
2 Discuss this with someone before you begin. You could make a list of words you are likely to meet and scan for them first.
3 Read the instructions right through first. Think about them.
4 Check any words that you are not sure about. Check anything you don’t understand.
5 Read them right through again until you’re confident you’ve read and understood them correctly.
6 If there’s a task you can carry out, read again step by step as you do it.
For your file
Keep a clear copy of important instructions you might need again.
Keep a list of words and phrases which are often used for instructions and notices.
LOOK OUT for instructions. Bring them in if you can to share with other people.
If you don’t understand this, ask for help before doing an instructions starter.
