AI is rapidly changing the world. This course is about how you can integrate it into your lectures or actually how it is already integrated in your students work.
We will have a look at the challenges introduced by AI to education.
How students already use it and how you can detect it.
And finally, how it can enhance your lessons.
Keep in mind that this is just an introductory course and if you want to learn more, please have a look at our other courses, visit our website. There is always a way to improve ourselves.
Now you can see how easy it is to do any schoolwork with AI. It is a lose-lose situation, because instead of students you are examining computers, so they learn nothing, and in the end, you will just be made fun of. From our experience there are two effective ways how to fight new revolution in education:
1. Go old school. Paper and pencil exams, oral exams or projects instead of essays. Simple as that. This is very regressive, which is what we don't really like. You are preparing students for the world 50 years back instead of the world now, which is not good. BUT you can add the second point to this point, which is ...
2. Use it yourself and be transparent about it. Well, if the students use it, in the hospitals and gyms they use it, in business as well, why not in class? For example, instead of an essay make students make an infographic, which they will have to present. You can be creative. And you can use it yourself for lecture planning, grading systems, exam creation etc. etc. Just be transparent about it, if you want your pupils to be as well.
Chatbots can be super helpful, but knowing how to talk to them makes all the difference. Here’s how you can make your interactions smoother and more effective:
Be Clear and Concise
When you’re chatting with a bot, clarity is everything. Keep your requests or questions straightforward. Skip the long-winded explanations that might confuse the bot.
Example:
Good: "Set a reminder for 3 PM tomorrow."
Not Ideal: "Could you maybe remind me tomorrow around 3 in the afternoon?"
Use Simple Language
Bots are programmed to understand plain and simple language. Using big words or slang might trip them up.
Example:
Good: "What's the weather like today?"
Not Ideal: "Can you give me a heads-up on today’s meteorological conditions?"
Be Specific
The more details you provide, the better the bot can help. Be specific about what you need.
Example:
Good: "Find Italian restaurants near me."
Not Ideal: "I want to eat out."
Use Keywords
Including key terms in your request helps the bot quickly grasp what you’re looking for.
Example:
Good: "Show me the latest news on technology."
Not Ideal: "What’s new in the world today?"
Ask One Thing at a Time
Stick to one question or command per message. Multiple requests can confuse the bot.
Example:
Good: "What time is my meeting today?" Followed by, "Do I have any emails?"
Not Ideal: "What time is my meeting today and do I have any emails?"
Use Correct Grammar and Spelling
While bots are getting better at understanding natural language, using proper grammar and spelling helps ensure accurate responses.
Example:
Good: "Book a table for two at 7 PM."
Not Ideal: "Buk a tabble for two at seven PM."
Provide Context When Necessary
Sometimes, giving a bit of background helps the bot understand your request better, especially for follow-up questions.
Example:
Initial Query: "What's the weather like in New York?"
Follow-Up: "How about tomorrow?" (The bot already knows you’re asking about New York.)
By keeping these tips in mind, you’ll have smoother and more accurate interactions with chatbots. Happy chatting! If you would like to learn more visit our designated course for this topic.

AI is changing the world. It is widely used in all kinds of businesses, and education should be no exception. The problem is, from our experience, that most of the AI courses are, let's say, too technical. Learning about coding or some programming languages... seriously?! You really don't need to know that the same way as you don't need to know how a car works to drive it. We wanted to change this paradigm. As pedagogues with 10+ years of experience in teaching, our mission is to teach the real stuff and in a creative way. Students aren't getting any smarter with the unending ChatGPT "cheating" on any schoolwork they get, so we would like to focus on a few key points in this topic.
It's crucial to integrate AI into education in a way that enhances learning without overwhelming everyone with technical jargon. By focusing on practical applications and real-world examples, we can make AI more accessible and engaging. We aim to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills rather than just offering shortcuts for assignments.
Just watch our video and have a look at our course so you can see what we are all about. ;)
Thank you!
