Description

Procurement is becoming more strategic, more data-heavy, more document-heavy, and more exposed to risk. At the same time, procurement teams are under pressure to move faster, support better decisions, communicate clearly, and protect the business.

This course shows how artificial intelligence can support real procurement work without replacing professional judgment.

You will learn where AI fits across the source-to-pay process, how to prompt AI for procurement tasks, and how to apply AI to spend analysis, supplier discovery, market research, sourcing strategy, RFP and RFQ preparation, bid comparison, contract review support, negotiation preparation, supplier risk monitoring, supplier performance management, automation, dashboards, reporting, and stakeholder communication.

The course is practical and business-focused. It is not a coding course, not a data science course, and not a legal advice course. The goal is to help procurement professionals understand how AI can create better starting points, sharper analysis, clearer communication, and more structured workflows while keeping human accountability, data privacy, fairness, and governance in place.

You will also learn the limits of AI. AI can summarize, classify, draft, compare, and organize information, but it can also make mistakes, miss context, produce outdated information, or sound confident when the output still needs verification. Throughout the course, the focus is on safe, controlled, and useful AI adoption in procurement.

By the end of the course, you will be able to identify practical procurement AI use cases, create stronger prompts, review AI outputs more critically, design AI-assisted workflows, and build a simple procurement AI adoption roadmap for your own work or team.

AI disclosure: This course discusses AI-assisted procurement workflows. Any AI-generated or AI-supported learning materials should be reviewed by the instructor before publication and use.
