Hello and welcome to this AI Automation Engineer course on Udemy!

Before we dive in, let me introduce myself. My name is Faysal Durrani. I have extensive experience working within prominent corporate retail groups. Throughout my career, I have dealt with the exact, real-world data challenges that professionals face daily, and more importantly, I know how to solve them efficiently.

This is my third course here on Udemy. In my first course, I teach Microsoft Excel from scratch. In my second course, I teach Microsoft Copilot from beginner level all the way to mastering it. And now, I’m incredibly excited to show you how to automate your entire daily workflow end‑to‑end, giving you the opportunity to take your skills to the next level.

"If you are new to Udemy and find that I am speaking too fast, you can easily slow down the video speed. Simply click on the Playback Speed option at the bottom of the video player. By default, it is set to 1x, but you can change it to 0.5x or 0.75x to slow it down. On the other hand, if you feel my speed is too slow, you can increase it to 1.25x, 1.5x, or up to 2x.

Additionally, you can adjust the video playback quality by clicking the Gear icon (Settings). This tutorial was recorded in high definition (HD), and the video quality will automatically adjust based on the speed of your internet connection."

I hope you thoroughly enjoy this learning journey. Best of luck, and I will see you inside our very first lesson!"

  • What is AI Automation4:15

Hello and welcome to this AI automation course.

I want to take a moment to explain what AI automation really means, not in theory, but in the same practical way we use it every day in real office work. AI automation is simply the process of using AI tools and automation software to complete repetitive digital tasks without manual effort. Instead of spending time clicking, downloading, copying, pasting, exporting, and sending files, we build a workflow that performs these steps automatically, accurately, and consistently.

To understand this better, let me walk you through a real example from my own daily workflow. Every day, I need to open a website, download an Excel report, and then update my master report. With automation, Power Automate Desktop handles the first part. It opens the website, navigates to the correct page, downloads the Excel file, opens my main report, and clicks the button inside Excel.

After that, Excel takes over completely. The button triggers a macro that pastes the new data dump, refreshes the report, updates formulas and dashboards, saves the file as a PDF, copies the dashboard image, opens Outlook, writes the email body, attaches the PDF, pastes the dashboard, and sends the email. All of this happens automatically, without me touching anything.

This combination of PAD for the physical actions and Excel for the logic is a perfect example of AI automation. And when we add AI tools on top of it, the workflow becomes even smarter. Copilot helps plan the automation steps. ChatGPT Free and Gemini Free help generate formulas, fix errors, write email summaries, and create logic. NotebookLM helps analyze documents, extract insights, and support knowledge‑based tasks. The best part is that all of these tools can be used in their free versions, with no subscription required.

AI automation matters because most of us spend hours every week doing the same repetitive tasks: downloading files, updating reports, cleaning data, copying dashboards, and sending emails. Automation reduces this time from hours to minutes, or even seconds. It improves accuracy, speed, consistency, and overall productivity, while reducing stress and manual effort.

In this course, you will learn how to automate exactly these types of workflows using Power Automate Desktop, Excel, Copilot, ChatGPT Free, Gemini Free, and Google NotebookLM. By the end, you’ll be able to build your own end‑to‑end automation, even if you’ve never automated anything before.

AI automation is not the future; it is already here. And once you experience how much time it saves, you will never want to go back to doing these tasks manually again.

Thank you for watching this video, and I will see you in the next tutorial.

  • Why automation matters in 20264:16

“Hello and welcome to this tutorial, Automation matters more in 2026 than ever before because the way businesses operate has changed dramatically. Companies across every industry are facing higher workloads, tighter deadlines, and increasing pressure to reduce costs while improving accuracy. Automation is no longer a future concept; it is a practical necessity that organizations are using right now to eliminate repetitive work and increase productivity. According to industry reports, customer service automation alone is reducing support tickets by thirty to sixty percent, allowing teams to focus on complex issues instead of routine questions .

In 2026, automation is being used to solve very specific operational problems. Businesses are not trying to “implement AI” in a general sense; they are using automation to remove bottlenecks that waste time. For example, intelligent document processing is now replacing manual data entry for invoices, contracts, and purchase orders. Companies that used to spend hours verifying documents now complete the same work in seconds because AI extracts information automatically and flags errors instantly .

Automation is also transforming industries like finance, healthcare, logistics, and retail. In banking, AI systems analyze loan applications in seconds, detect fraud in real time, and generate compliance reports automatically. JPMorgan’s COIN system has already replaced three hundred sixty thousand hours of manual legal review every year, showing how powerful automation has become in large organizations . In logistics, predictive maintenance systems monitor machines and vehicles continuously, reducing breakdowns and saving millions in repair costs. In manufacturing, automated quality control systems detect defects faster and more accurately than human inspectors.

Real examples from 2026 show that automation is delivering measurable results. Businesses are using AI to process thousands of documents, manage customer inquiries, generate marketing content, and analyze financial data. These are not experiments; they are production systems running every day with proven return on investment. Companies that adopted automation in 2025 and 2026 reported faster workflows, lower operational costs, and significantly fewer errors. Some implementations paid for themselves within weeks because the time savings were so large .

Automation also matters because it is now accessible to everyone. In 2026, free AI tools allow employees, students, and business owners to automate tasks without needing technical skills. Marketing teams generate content automatically. Operations teams eliminate manual data entry. Customer support teams handle thousands of inquiries without increasing staff. A recent industry guide documented twenty‑five real automation use cases across departments, showing how AI is transforming work at every level, from small businesses to global enterprises .

The reason automation is so important today is simple: repetitive work is a time black hole. Every hour spent downloading files, cleaning data, updating reports, or sending routine emails is an hour not spent on meaningful work. Automation reduces these tasks from hours to minutes, or even seconds. It improves accuracy, increases speed, and creates consistent results every single time. In 2026, automation is not just a competitive advantage; it is becoming a basic requirement for staying productive in a fast‑moving digital world.

This is why automation matters in 2026. It saves time, reduces costs, improves quality, and allows people to focus on work that truly requires human thinking. And with modern AI tools, anyone can start automating their workflows, even without technical experience.”

  • How to Create Good Prompt for HTML6:45

“Hello and welcome to this tutorial. In this video, we’re going to learn how to build a professional‑looking dashboard without using Microsoft Excel, without using any formulas, and without writing any complex code. We will create the entire dashboard using a single AI prompt, and the result will be an HTML page that allows us to download the dashboard in both PDF and PowerPoint formats. The best part is that everything we use in this tutorial is completely free. We will be working with AI platforms such as Gemini, Copilot, and Claude, all of which can generate full dashboards using simple instructions. So let’s get started.

Here I have a dataset that I want to convert into a professional dashboard. It’s a simple sample file containing columns like date, country, location, sales, and other basic fields. It’s just one sheet, but from this single sheet we can generate a complete, interactive dashboard. Based on this dataset, I prepared a detailed prompt that instructs the AI to build the dashboard. The prompt says: ‘Create a professional, modern retail operations dashboard using semantic HTML, clean CSS, and JavaScript, all combined in a single file that I can save as an .html page.’ I’ve included this full prompt in the video description so you can copy and use it exactly as shown.

    Let’s begin with Gemini.

“Now we have Gemini AI open, and I will paste our prompt into the text area. After that, I’ll click the plus button and switch to Canvas mode, which allows us to see the results live as the AI generates them. I’ll select Pro mode so we can get faster and more accurate output. Once everything is set, I’ll press the send button. Gemini begins processing the prompt, and within a few moments, the dashboard preview appears on the right side of the screen.

As you can see, Gemini has presented the final HTML dashboard layout. There is even a screen mode button that lets us switch between dark mode and light mode, which is a very interesting feature. Now let me upload my dataset to check how the dashboard performs. The overall layout looks great. When I scroll down, I can see detailed store KPIs, and below that, the charts appear clearly with smooth visualizations. The country‑wise and location‑wise filters are working correctly, and the week‑to‑date, month‑to‑date, and year‑to‑date buttons are also functioning exactly as expected.

Now I want to add a logo at the top of the dashboard. I’ll select the small area where I want the logo to appear. A chat box opens automatically, and I’ll type: ‘Can you add a teacher logo?’ and press enter. Gemini starts generating the logo, and after a few moments, it’s done. On the left side, Gemini explains what changes it made, and in the preview window, I can already see the new logo placed perfectly in the header.

To make sure everything still works correctly after the update, I’ll upload my dataset again. Everything looks perfect. In Canvas mode, we also have the option to download the HTML file directly by clicking the small download icon. Once the file is downloaded, I’ll open it, upload the dataset, and check the results. Everything is working smoothly. When I download the PDF version, it includes the dashboard but excludes the main title and logo banner. That’s not a problem — I can simply ask Gemini to include those elements as well.

Overall, the entire process is extremely fast. Gemini generates a complete, professional dashboard in less than a minute, something that would take a human many hours to build manually. It’s impressive to see how powerful AI has become.”

Now let’s try the same prompt with Copilot. I paste the prompt, press send, and wait for the code to generate. Once the code is ready, I copy it, paste it into Notepad, and save it as Copilot.html. When I open the file, the dashboard loads with a similar layout. It includes the same filters, and when I upload the dataset, everything updates correctly. The overall design looks good, and the speed and accuracy are impressive. Copilot generates the dashboard very quickly, and the results are reliable.

Next, I’ll try Claude. I paste the same prompt and press send. Claude takes a bit more time compared to Gemini and Copilot, but eventually it generates the dashboard preview on the right side. This is useful because we can visually confirm the layout before downloading the file. Since Claude is running on a free plan, there is a chance that the token limit may run out, which means we might need to wait a few hours for it to reset. But for now, Claude provides a direct download option for the HTML file. I click the download button, open the file, and the dashboard loads successfully. It looks great, and when I upload the dataset, it generates additional charts and visual elements that look very polished. The PDF export also works perfectly.

And that’s everything. You can modify the prompt based on your own requirements and ask Gemini, Copilot, or Claude to regenerate the code as many times as you need until you get the exact dashboard you want. It’s amazing how quickly AI can create something that would normally take hours of manual work. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, and I’ll see you in the next video.”
