Description
This Course, Agile Quality Management and Quality Control takes the Learner through the historical evolution of Quality Management and showcases the contributions made by pioneers of Quality Gurus like Deming, Juran and Crosby etc.
Basics of Quality Management and Quality Controls are explained in more fundamental approaches of PDCA (Plan, Do Check and Act) as well as DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control).
Under General Tools, the following topics are discussed namely, Cost of Quality, Defects per Million Opportunities, Failure Modes and Effect Analysis, Nominal Group Techniques and Quality Function Deployment or QFD.
Seven Quality Tools discuss Correlation Diagrams, Fishbone Diagram, Histogram, Measles Chart, Pareto Analysis, Process Map and Stratification.
Statistical Process Control is explained with explanations under Control charts and tools for capturing and analyzing qualitative information and process controls.
Service Gaps and Service Quality are explained under the topic Service Dimensions.
The section on ISO 9001:2000 deals with EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) Excellence Model and Quality Systems and Models under ISO 9001:2000. A short description on ISO 14000 series is also attempted in this section.
In Agile Methodologies, popular Agile Techniques such as Agile, Scrum and Kanban boards and methodologies are discussed. Commonly used Agile terms are also discussed to get an overview of Agile from the discussions under this section.
In Conclusion we draw the final points of the Quality Management and Quality Control topics taught and the exercises and reference section includes some of the more commonly found Quality based problems and solutions.
