Explore advanced structural design and maintenance using six software tools, with practical case studies, dynamic and fatigue analysis, and integrated lifting, stability, and construction concepts.
Explore upending and floating a jacket by defining the design condition, planning the installation sequence, and evaluating buoyancy, stability, and acceptance criteria.
Apply upending and floating sacs analysis to assess stability, center of gravity, center of buoyancy, and contingency-driven load conditions in vertical structural scenarios.
Assess bottom stability of the jacket by evaluating sliding and overturning resistance against soil bearing capacity, ultimate bearing capacity, and a factor of safety of 1.5.
Explore bottom stability with sacs, detailing how buoyancy, dynamic loads, and load-case combinations govern overturning and sliding risk, using wave, wind, and environment-driven forces.
Explore estimating steel material, weight, surface area, and cost for construction projects, using materials data, delta view insights, and outlet design considerations.
This course is part of SACS software course. This course is start by module I and module II that cover all the basic features about sacs software and how you can use it by knowing the SACS tools. So these two modules is mandatory to be taken before start on this module or you have an enough knowledge about using SACS software. The advanced SACS module III is focusing about applying the SACS software in a real project to be an example of practical how can we use this software in a real project.
In this course present the dynamic analysis and fatigue analysis as well and present the calculation reports for all the offshore structure analysis that are required during implementation of the project. So the inplace, dynamic, fatigue analysis will be illustrated in detail in addition to the launching, upending, towing, sea fastening , load out and lifting analysis will be discuss in detail by applying SACS software. The on bottom stability will be discussed and presented as well.
For this part of advanced SACS software module III this part 3 will focus on presenting the offshore structure upending analysis calculation and onbottom stability analysis for the offshore structure jacket and the way to read the output data.
