Explore practical case studies in structural design using six software, covering stability, dynamic analysis, fatigue, lifting, and construction perspectives for real platform projects.
Analyze seismic response with SACS, evaluating dynamic characteristics, eigenvalue and eigenvector, mass, stiffness, and water added mass. Combine gravity and seismic loads using ISO 19902 and complete quadratic combination.
Explore seismic analysis using SACS, comparing static and dynamic approaches, defining structure interactions, gravity and wind loads, and evaluating modes and eigenvalues for accurate response prediction.
Demonstrates seismic analysis with SACS, covering dynamic loading, modal combinations in X, Y, Z, accelerations, forces, and post-processing checks including joint integrity per ISO 19002.
Explore pushover collapse analysis for structural members using load increments, elastic and plastic behavior, joint deflection, and iterative checks to assess collapse.
Conduct a pushover analysis for a platform, evaluating wind, wave, and current loads, joint behavior, and plasticity to assess collapse risk and guide structural design.
Apply pushover analysis to a pile-supported platform under storm loads in different directions, evaluating loads, volumes, and member details to identify failure points and foundation implications.
This course is part of SACS software course. This course is start by module I and module II that cover all the basic features about sacs software and how you can use it by knowing the SACS tools. The objective of this advanced course is to apply sacs in a real projects and presents the calculation report and how to use SACS ina specific project to have a complete project in your hand as a reference.
In this course present the dynamic analysis and fatigue analysis as well and present the calculation reports for all the offshore structure analysis that are required during implementation of the project. So the inplace, dynamic, fatigue analysis will be illustrated in detail in addition to the launching, upending, towing, sea fastening , load out and lifting analysis will be discuss in detail by applying SACS software. The on bottom stability will be discussed and presented as well.
For this part of advanced SACS software module III this part 3 will focus on presenting the offshore structure seismic analysis calculation and pushover analysis for the offshore structure and the way to read the output data. The nonliner collapse analysis or pushver analysis with and without pile wll be presented.
