This discussion starts where the conference left off. We’re taking that next step from the future of the Software Industry in general – to your individual career path in IT. If the industry is constantly changing and advancing, what does that mean for our professional and career advancement in this field?

What does our career paths look like?

And what do we have to look forward to in advancement and promotion opportunities?

This course will open some doors that you may not have been previously aware of and even shine some additional light on opportunities that you were aware of.

The bigger Game –

All the paths that we have previously discussed are certainly doable in e and 5 years out.

But at the start of this journey, we talked about making out mark with our 15 year goals.

If we’ve been talking about things that we can accomplish in 3 and 5 years time – what kind of things should we be dreaming about for our 10 and 15 year goals?

Well - The 10 and 15 years out needs to be bigger.

For instance – instead of being an expert in your field – Shoot for being an Authority in your area.

Instead of following someone else’s methodology and standard – Create your own methodology and standard.

Instead of reading books on your topic – Author the book that becomes the standard in your field.

Instead of being a consultant – create the certification program which all test consultants want to acquire.
