Leaner should have to solve same Problem by Using Comsol Multiphysics Software and Use this Knowledge to Practical , Application oriented Problem
This simulation demonstrates how to set up a simple static structural analysis. The analysis is exemplified on a combination wrench during the application of torque on a bolt. Despite its simplicity, and the fact that very few engineers would run a structural analysis before trying to turn a bolt, the example provides an excellent overview of structural analysis in COMSOL Multiphysics.
In this tutorial example, which demonstrates a more generally applicable method, a
structural mechanics model of a spring is augmented by a global equation that solves for
the load required to achieve a desired total extension of the spring.
The stresses in a pulley connected to an engine that drives another pulley are studied in this model.
A parametric analysis is conducted in order to study how the rotational speed affects the stress distribution in the pulley. The power at the pulley shaft remains constant, the moment (defined by the ratio of the power by the rotational speed) will thus decrease with increased speed. This means that with increased rotational speed the inertial load increases and at the same time the driving belt-force decreases.
COMSOL Multiphysics® is a general-purpose simulation software for modeling designs, devices, and processes in all fields of engineering, manufacturing, and scientific research. In addition to using multiphysics modeling for your own projects, you can also turn your models into simulation applications and digital twins for use by other design teams, manufacturing departments, test labs, customers, and more.
The platform product can be used on its own or expanded with functionality from any combination of add-on modules for simulating electromagnetics, structural mechanics, acoustics, fluid flow, heat transfer, and chemical engineering. The add-on modules and LiveLink™ products connect seamlessly for a modeling workflow that remains the same regardless of what you are modeling.
