Advance your acoustic guitar skills by exploring country, reggae, and soft rock genres, with practical song examples to help players at the beginner and intermediate levels.

Practice the working bass for country guitar with a medium plectrum (0.71 mm), using alternating and walking bass on the C F C G progression and adding G7 chords.

Master an all-percussive strum in a major key using the one-four-five progression (I-IV-V) for intro, verse, and chorus, with muted strums and relaxed finger technique.
The acoustic guitar is a beautiful instrument but equally challenging to learn and grow from a beginning level to an advanced level. After a few years of teaching a number of students, I have developed a technique of training that has proved to be effective in nurturing beginning players into advanced acoustic guitarists.
In this course, I will introduce you to playing in different genres of music including reggae, country, soft rock. We have also included practical song examples to help you apply the concepts covered appropriately.
Students taking this course should at least have foundational guitar playing skills to be able to understand these advanced concepts. The teaching style is simple and clear to help you move along smoothly from one lesson to the next.
