Hue/Saturation in Adobe Photoshop allows you to adjust the hue, saturation and lightness of color in an image. Hue is the color while saturation is the intensity of that color. Monochrome means a photograph carried out in black and white or in varying tones of a single color. Adobe Photoshop has some great tools that you can use to convert your images into a monochromatic display. This effect can help bring out the drama and focus in your images.

Adobe Photoshop includes a feature that automatically reduces image blurring caused by a camera motion. This feature is called the Shake Reduction filter. It is a very handy feature to rescue an image that was ruined by a camera shake.
A 3D Anaglyph is a stereoscopic effect that creates three-dimensional images by overlapping two images - one with a red filter, and one with a cyan filter. The pop-out stereoscopic photo effect can be experienced with those two colors used. This trick works best with black and white images, but it can work pretty well with colored images too!
Photoshop can build various basic 3D objects from 2D layers as a starting point. Creating a 3D shape from a layer wraps the layer onto the 3D object preset. Importing your Microsoft Word document or any Rich Text file to InDesign is a very helpful function. This allows you to continue your work from Word to InDesign with its original formatting and styles retained. You can also choose to remove the original formatting of the Word document when you import it to InDesign.
The Place command in InDesign is the primary method used to import text and graphics into your InDesign document. When you use the Place command, the Place dialog box will appear and give you the option to Show Import Options. If you don’t select this option, InDesign will apply the default settings of the text or graphics.
he Paste Into feature of Adobe InDesign allows you to make advanced visual effects by nesting a limitless number of elements inside a frame. An example is using this command to add some creativity and different effects to text. In this tutorial, you will learn how to add an image inside of a text frame using the Paste Into command.
InDesign allows you to mock up a layout with a generated dummy text. This feature is called the Placeholder text or more commonly known as Lorem ipsum in the printed typesetting industry. This is very useful if you are designing a document for a client that relies on copy but does not have the final copy available yet. Placeholder text allows you to start working on the design of the document by simply inserting a dummy text to indicate where the text will sit in the document, and can always be replaced when the final copy is available.
Having all information within the document may seem pretty boring especially if there is too much text sitting in the frame without overflowing. Threading text across frames in InDesign is a great feature that improves the process of editing and amending copy while you work on layouts. Threading text is a process of linking two or more text frames in an InDesign document allowing text to flow from one frame frame to another.
Adobe InDesign has a feature that allows you to flow large bodies of text between columns, pages, and between different text frames. This is a great time-saving feature that you can use as you work on your InDesign projects.
