Description

Learn four popular and effective ancient beauty techniques for glowing and radiant skin. Lana Marconi, R.Ac teaches Traditional Chinese Medicine Beauty Techniques for your spa business or personal self-care beauty rituals. Chinese medicine cosmetology closely connects face with the organs, meridians and Qi and focuses on external application such as acupressure massage, gua sha and other means to achieve smooth flow of Qi. It is simple and convenient, safe and reliable.

In this course you will learn about the following Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) cosmetology skills and techniques to help beautify your clients: Facial Gua Sha, Facial Cupping, Jade Rolling and a sophisticated Acupressure face and head massage. The Acupressure face massage is adapted from Dr. Wu's Head Massage course that Lana took when learning about Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. This course is specifically designed for people who want to learn TCM beauty techniques without the acupuncture needles (as that requires a license).

Among other benefits, these practices can help to brighten skin, minimize the appearance of scars, fine lines, and wrinkles, tone chin, jawline and neck, decrease puffiness, regulate oil production, improve nutrient delivery and product absorption, and more. In addition, Lana shares information about skin anatomy and the aging process plus a few of her favourite skincare rituals to keep the skin glowing, healthy and radiant.

This course is great for people that already do facial services such as estheticians and massage therapists who would like to add another facial service to their business. This course is also great for general interest, people interested in learning more about natural self-care and beauty enhancing rituals they can easily perform at home. You do not need any specialized training as a pre-requisite and anyone can learn these ancient, feel-good techniques.

  • People interested in skincare for themselves and their friends
  • Estheticians
