Instructors
Fiona is a author, acupressure expert, Chinese Medicine clinic owner and director and childbirth educator.
She is (together with Ray Ford) the creator and developer of the Qi Flow Acupressure App (which has a 4.8 star average rating on the App Store).
Together with Dr Ray Ford, she is the Co-Director of the thriving Sydney, Australia based Acupuncture Clinic - Experience Acupuncture , which treats 100s of patients weekly and has a 4.9 star rating on Google reviews.
This is a community style acupuncture clinic, which offers low priced acupuncture treatments to the community. She has been involved in the running of Experience Acupuncture Bondi Junction clinic and Crows Nest clinic since 2010.
She also runs monthly Acupressure, Gua Sha and cupping workshops with Ray Ford, where she teaches patients how to use acupressure on themselves and their own clients.
Dr Ray Ford is a Doctor of Chinese Medicine in Sydney Australia - the includes both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.
He has been is private practice for 35 years continuously.
His current private practice is in Crows Nest Sydney Australia. He has a Masters degree in Acupuncture from UTS and graduated from several periods of post graduate study in China - at the Zhejiang Academy of TCM from 1998 -2003.
He opened Sydney's first low cost community style clinics in Australia (baed in Bondi Junction and Crows Nest). To date he has completed 60,000 treatments and employed 40 plus acupuncturists both full and part time, during this time.
He has practiced the Daoist 3 Dan Tien meditation for many years and is a certified teacher.
He has studied TCM as well as many other traditions such as Japanese, Korean and more modern techniques such as Dry Needling. He has a special interest in the Five Elements known as Wu Xing in Chinese Medicine.
Ray is the author of the book Clinical Aromatherapy - using essential oils on acu - points and Channels.
He is also the Co-Founder of the Qi Flow app - a very useful acupressure app that encompasses the breadth and depth of using the points and channels of Chinese Medicine with acupressure. He created this together with Fiona Lackinger.
