In today’s multitasking hyperactive life, we tend to be easily distracted all the time or just too caught up in whatever we are doing. Vibhas Mehta has over 32 years of extensive experience in Internet, E-Commerce, Marketing & Sales, of which the last 21+ years have been in the Digital space. Currently working as a Life Coach and an Independent e-commerce & digital business consultant, Vibhas works with individuals and startups, to help them harness their own true potential and the potential of the Digital medium. Before he started on his own in 2009, he was working with People Interactive as Business Head of Shaadi dot com – The World’s Largest Matrimony Services Provider, where his keen understanding of the Indian consumer helped him grow the business by more than 100% over a short period. He also headed the Internet Marketing & Corporate Communications responsibility for the group and its brands.
Vibhas is a Bachelor in Electronics & Telecommunications from Amravati University. He started his career with Blue Star Ltd. in the Medical Electronic Department, where he quickly grew to the position of Marketing Head India and South East Asia, for one of Blue Star’s biggest partners Hitachi Medical Systems. He has been an entrepreneur himself and started India’s first Internet Training Institute – World Wide Web Institute in Mumbai and Pune in a tie up with 3WI - Geneva. He has also worked with companies in the IT Media space such as Jasubhai Digital Media where he also set up and ran India’s first IT Media Training School ‘Media One’.
Vibhas leads a happy married life with his wife Suhasini, a PR and Image Consultant, running her own firm. He loves to read books and surf the web. Apart from being a voracious reader, he is also an avid traveler.
He believes that the convergence of IT, Telecom and Entertainment industries has spawned a new and exciting phase in the history of mankind, and he is extremely thrilled to be an integral part of this revolution.
