Instructor
I am an artist and art teacher living in the South East of England. I have a BFA from the University of Western Ontario where I specialised in painting. I love to paint and draw landscapes of this beautiful part of the world. as well as portraits, especially of my two boys! Since I've been running an after school art club for kids these last 5 years I've become passionate about kids art. I believe it's important to give children the opportunity to explore all forms of art making from drawing , painting, printmaking, sculpture, to mixed media and the work of famous artists. I think it's equally important that children get the opportunity to be free and creative as well as having more directed lessons from which they will learn skills and gain confidence. The kids I've taught have been very receptive to learning about art and colour theory, and art history, especially when these ideas are taught in a fun and engaging manner.
