This course

In this course we paint and draw together to create an interesting painting of a horse and rider. We will be using Impressionism as our technique, with mixed-media consisting of a modest variety of acrylic paint colors and some artist's color chalks. Afterward, I will also show you how I matte and package my paintings for sale.

Teaching style

Unscripted and hands-on, my style of teaching is a "real world" classroom format where I take you through the whole artistic process:  sketching, painting, and even making mistakes, while literally narrating my thoughts as we paint.

Who this course is for:

  • Anyone interested in learning a new artistic technique. In this class, it's Impressionism.
