Explore a loose, layered acrylic approach to daisies, starting with collage paper and abstract underpaintings. Build soft blue-green tones, warm yellow centers, and a white vase while preserving underlying brushwork.
Explore loose, expressive acrylic painting of a pink coffee pot and red cup on a neutral table, using dynamic color shifts, texture lifting, and playful, non-rigid composition.
Explore a playful acrylic approach to pink roses, layering lighter and darker pinks while casting shadows with blues and greens in coloring-book style that emphasizes color and mood over realism.
Refine the painting's background, middle ground, and foreground by adding smaller shapes and details, using crimson, pewter gray, and light blue to enhance the fried egg, flowers, and table border.
Create collage trees from leftover trunks, cutting varied shapes with an Exacto knife. Upcycle old drawings and leftover paint into collage paper, then arrange for harmony and visual variety.
Paint cutlery with acrylic ink to block basic fork and spoon shapes, then refine details and vary backgrounds to create contrast and unity.
Use a liner brush to add bird heads and wing tips, letting abstract color blotches resolve into birds. Emphasize negative space, vary size and direction, and adjust with white paint.
Explore abstract acrylic painting techniques by building layered underlayers with random brush strokes, letting portions of the underpainting show while revealing a cow as the final subject.

Joyner is a master of the very loose and playful style of art he has created. His approach has one foot in reality and the established rules of art, and the other in sort of gonzo no-limits abstractionism. He walks this line perfectly and it's a pleasure to watch him doing what he does. So many ideas, often ones he comes up with on the fly, that are guaranteed to get your creative juices not just flowing but overflowing.

Lots of projects and ideas for different ways of painting and collaging. I'm a big fan of this drawing/art style - loose - but with overall harmony. The projects make you feel good!
