    In this beginner-friendly course, I demonstrate how to paint a beautiful Landscape with acrylic colors.

    Forget about having prior painting experience, I will take you through the a step by step process right from the sketching to painting the final layer. We will be working on layers, so that no matter how intimidating the final output seems it will be easy to achieve that.

Requirements

  • This course is designed for beginners. No prior painting experience is needed. All you need is the willingness to learn as well as enjoy the process. So NO Judging yourself.
  • The materials you need for course are: Acrylic Colors, Flat & round Brushes, Canvas, masking tape, rough cloth and a jar or water. I'll also explain about the materials in detail in the lesson.

Welcome to the course & Thanks for enrolling.

This class is for beginners who are starting up with acrylic medium. My objective is to make my students comfortable with the medium. Instead of practicing the basics of acrylic painting which one can find everywhere, I want to approach the same in a different and more fun way.

In this beginner-friendly class the students learn the techniques of acrylic painting while painting a landscape that looks complex and intimidating. But with my step by step guidance the students will be able to paint this landscape easily and attempt any other painting in future without getting so scared. The Main motive of this class is to have fun and enjoy the process of creating something new. So no judgements here! Just shed all your fears and jump in. Forget about having prior painting experience, I will take you through a step by step process and explain all the tips and tricks required to paint this landscape.

We will first discuss the materials needed for the course. And then we will understand the basic sketch for the landscape.

Once the sketch is ready we will go with a layer by layer approach to paint the landscape. And in doing so we will also move ahead with one color at a time.

In this course you'll learn:

  • Mixing the colors

  • Basic blending techniques

  • The direction of brush strokes and how they impact the perspective of the landscape

  • Direction of light and its important in a painting

  • Adding highlights and shadows

  • Correcting the mistakes 

Class Project

For your class project you'll be painting your very own canvas painting with wisteria flowers and a blue door.
