Description

Accredited Couples Counselling & Therapy Course is based on The Gottman Method approach to couples therapy, created by psychologist Dr. John Gottman. Interventions used in the Gottman Method are research-based and grounded in the Sound Relationship House theory, which specifies nine elements of a healthy relationship.

This course focuses on improving empathy within a couple's relationship and works to enhance overall communication and intimacy. It’s ideal for couples where one or both participants are unsure of counselling because it encourages couples to continue working on their relationship at home.

This course consists of 3 sections. Starting with Section 1, which includes introduction and the Gottman Method Techniques, followed by the benefits, reasons, signs and skills you can learn in couple therapy. Section 2, of this course deals in identifying the Issues and therapy techniques.

The last section i.e., Section 3, covers the treatment for resolving the Issues and relationship exercises & activities. Furthermore, downloadable resources like forms and worksheets for practice and therapy are attached with the relevant lectures.

Quizzes have been formulated after every section / lecture, which will enable you to recap and check your understanding.

All the best and I am sure that this course will have a positive impact on your relationship.
