Description

Are you ready for AB-731, or will the exam find the gaps for you? The Microsoft AI Transformation Leader exam does not ask you to write code. It asks whether you can judge business value, pick the right Microsoft AI app or service, and plan a responsible, well-governed rollout. That is harder to self-assess than it sounds, and this course is built to answer the question before you book.

You get five practice tests with 100 questions each: 500 questions in total, written against the AB-731 study guide with skills measured as of July 22, 2026. Every question maps to one of the six skill areas in that guide, in the same weighting in every test, so your per-domain scores add up to a clear picture.

The July 2026 refresh matters. Microsoft renamed Azure AI services to Foundry Tools, Azure AI Foundry to Microsoft Foundry and Azure AI Vision to Azure Vision in Foundry Tools, and the subscription objective now asks about pay-as-you-go and commitment tiers instead of prepaid plans. Practice material written for the earlier AB-731 outline uses the old names and the old pricing objective, and trains you for a version of the exam you will not sit.

The five tests build up step by step:

  • Test 1, Groundwork: one concept per question, a baseline across all areas.

  • Test 2, In Practice: short business scenarios and look-alike services.

  • Test 3, Trade-offs: two plausible answers, one deciding constraint.

  • Test 4, Under the Hood: licensing, billing, governance and extensibility mechanics.

  • Test 5, Exam Day: long case questions under the tightest clock.

Every answer option has its own feedback, so you learn why a wrong choice is wrong and what it actually is. Each question ends with an overall explanation and a link to the Microsoft Learn page it is based on.

After each attempt Udemy shows your score per skill area. The pass mark is 80% for tests 1 to 4 and 85% for test 5, deliberately above what the real AB-731 exam requires, so that a pass here gives you margin on exam day.

What this course is not: it is not a video course and it contains no real exam questions. It tests and explains. Use it next to the free Microsoft Learn learning paths for AB-731, not instead of them.

Who this course is for:

  • This course is for business leaders, managers and transformation leads who are preparing for Microsoft exam AB-731 and want to know whether they are ready. It also suits strategy and innovation managers, project and program managers, consultants and pre-sales staff who advise on Microsoft 365 Copilot and Microsoft Foundry, and IT professionals moving from a technical role into an advisory or AI governance role. Students and career switchers who want a recognised, business-level AI certification will find a structured way to check their knowledge. AB-731 is a new exam and does not replace a retired exam, but it is easily confused with its siblings: AB-730 targets business users working with Copilot day to day, and AI-900/AI-901 test technical AI fundamentals. This course follows the AB-731 study guide only. It is a question bank with detailed explanations: it tells you where you stand and why an answer is right or wrong. It does not replace a course, and it contains no real exam questions.
