Description

This is an A1–B2 Norwegian Pronunciation Course.

The course is taught by a teacher from Oslo, using the Oslo dialect (standardtalemål) as its reference. Learning standardtalemål is particularly beneficial because it closely aligns with bokmål and is widely regarded as neutral and easy to understand.

The course includes three lectures and two assignments focused on mastering the pronunciation of the vowels E, O, U and Æ, Ø, Å. Special attention is given to sounds that can be tricky for non-native speakers, ensuring that each student can make measurable progress. Additionally, it provides tools and strategies for continual improvement after the course concludes.

By the end of the course, participants will have a deeper understanding of Norwegian vowels and their unique sounds, which are essential for effective communication. Students will gain the confidence to speak more clearly and with greater precision. The additional resources and strategies provided will enable learners to continue refining their pronunciation and adapt it to different conversational contexts.

In conclusion, the A1–B2 Norwegian Pronunciation Course serves as a stepping stone toward achieving greater fluency and comprehension in everyday Norwegian interactions. It is ideal for both beginners and intermediate learners who want to improve their pronunciation and understanding of Norwegian.
