As you learn the basic functionality and methods of image editing with Photoshop, this sets you in motion to handle later advanced tasks and complex techniques. this will save you time as you have groomed yourself in the core image editing principles.

Course Content and Overview

we will begin by optimizing Photoshop, you will learn how to boost photo-shops memory to ensure you have no hassle or "lagging" software environment. the course has 19 lectures and almost an hour and a half. Each chapter has accompanying exercise files, but you can choose to work on your own image if you so desire to.
We will then proceed to begin retouching basic by learning how you can remove spots and blemishes on an image, you will learn to do so non-destructively. we then proceed to learn to apply a mask and you will be taught to understand what masks are, how to use them which carrying out hands-on exercises.

with the concepts of masking understood, you will proceed to learn the foundation of using layers and layer masks. you will learn what they are and how to apply them to images. we would also use the resource files which contain a variety of images to choose from.  furthermore, you will learn to change the color of fabric and sections of an image using three techniques which include the use of the color replacement tool, masks, and layer blend modes.

Having used masking and adjustments layers you will learn to use the content aware fill and move in two lessons to move and replace selected objects on an image.
while learning about fills and stroke, you will build a simple flat shaded gaming device.
Moving on. you will learn how to cut out a subject from a background using the refine edge tool, masks, and selections. this exercise will teach you how to select hair and subjects in an image. we will also explore and use channels to select a portrait and substitute its background.

Having acquired knowledge in selections and masking. you will learn about smart objects and smart filters while working on an image to see the effects first hand.
finally, you will learn how to take simple text and using the layer styles create text designs.

The course includes all work files and samples so you wouldn't miss out in case you don't have images to edit. the images are also royalty free so you can choose to distribute them as you wish.
