In this course, we will explore a range of topics to help you understand the ideas and opportunities that DAOs represent.
We will explain what DAOs are, and explore their fundamental value propositions compared with traditional corporate structures.
Once we have explored the different types of DAOs that exist, we will look at the fundamental components needed to create a DAO, including the range of technologies used to build it.
Now, internet-based organisations are of course far more than the technologies used to create them.
There will always be people, processes, legal regulations, financial considerations and governance issues that need to be considered in any organisation.
We show you how to consider these issues for your DAO, and the tools required to get things up and running.
Naturally, as with any disruptive innovation, there are challenges, potential pitfalls and uncertainties to be considered. Getting things right from the start is incredibly important. As regulation emerges or changes, you want to make sure that you have considered all the issues and have planned accordingly.
Finally, once we have laid the groundwork of understanding, we will walk you through a practical example of creating a DAO from scratch. In our video you will follow us through all the steps and choices as we build and launch our DAO.
